The gambling industry is being “buried” every year. Many countries are tightening laws and regulations and creating more and more obstacles. The industry thrives despite this; proposes new offers and different types of sports every year.
Our team has spoken to the affiliate manager of Almabet and found out where it’s best to promote cyber sports offers, what the advantages of sabong are, and what profitable partnerships an affiliate network can offer.
Hi! We’d like to know more about Almabet and about your main responsibilities there. Is there anything interesting you could highlight about the Almabet team and its internal structure?
Hi! My name is Nikita, I’m an affiliate manager at Almabet. My responsibilities include searching for webmasters and guiding them through the different GEOs and sources. I also mediate controversial situations and manage accounts and payouts.
At the moment my focus is on the main goal of our affiliate network — building a platform that will link gambling lovers. The key detail is the combination of casino and sports betting. We help to make legal bets on any typical sports event as well as atypical sports events for the more sophisticated and demanding audience. For example, Sabong, Greyhound, Horse racing.
As for the internal structure and our team, we’re very lucky. We’re united in our goal and the atmosphere in the office is very friendly. I love coming to the office every day!
You work in the betting and gambling vertical. What can you say about these verticals in 2024? Some people say that it’s harder and harder to get leads… what do you think? What are the prospects for the vertical?
I believe that people have been “burying” gambling for years. If we have a look at the global statistics, however, the capitalization of these markets is growing every year. New GEOs that were forbidden before keep opening up.
Gambling is a goldmine that will live on as long as people continue to seek excitement, competition, and passion! The amount of new games is growing constantly, and so is the flow of leads. There are new sports events that gamers take on professionally. For many gamers, it’s just a hobby that gives them pleasure and money. They’re willing to invest financially! As long as people need this excitement in their blood, gambling will live on.
I do understand the concern of webmasters, though. Facebook is tightening things up, there are issues with payments, affiliate programs start “shaving” them, and so on. Many give up and go for new verticals and even niches. In my opinion, it all depends on the affiliate’s level of professionalism.
As for the “shaving” part, I can guarantee that it’s not something we do or plan on doing. We’re looking for long-term partnerships and only strive for a mutually profitable WIN-WIN relationship with our partners. Our reputation is very important to us and maintaining a positive one is our goal. We want to create a world where gamers can enjoy themselves and webmasters can deliver gamers a high-quality product, which they can earn regularly. This is a WIN-WIN situation.
You’re working tightly with webmasters from the gambling and betting verticals. What main tendencies can you highlight and how do you work with these webmasters?
Almabet aims for a quick ROI and high quality. The gambling industry is overflowing with garbage. I say this mainly about the quality of traffic. We consider ourselves top players, so we only want to surround ourselves with other top players. We only want top-quality traffic for all GEOs: SEO, PPC, context, targeted, BIGO Ads, any bloggers, YouTubers, and cuppers. We aim for ROI in 1-2 months. These results are expected for both Almabet and the webmasters themselves.
We know you work with cockfighting and horse racing. What can you tell us about these games? It’s hard to find offers for them, are they in high demand? How do you work in this direction?
With us, webmasters have the chance to work with new markets and GEOs. That’s the whole point! There are very few offers, and we’ve got them.
Of course, they’re in high demand. Cockfighting and horse racing are popular in different parts of the world. In the Philippines sabong is almost a national sport. It’s also popular in Thailand, Indonesia, Haiti, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru, and even China and the USA. You can make a lot of traffic for sabong and horse racing. It’s very cheap and at the same time, highly popular!
We recently wrote about cyber sports and came to the conclusion that there’s no one rule here: sometimes the audience is extremely young and not willing to pay. Also, the only way to attract them is through TikTok, streams, and so on. How do you work in these directions, how do webmasters work with them? Is it a profitable niche?
Cybersports are something all webmasters must pay attention to and start generating traffic for this niche. For now, the niche has little competition, which means that inexperienced webmasters can make money. Traffic for cybersports is made in the same way as for gambling and betting. The entry benchmark is low. The advantage is that cybersports is not considered a “gray” niche and offers can be promoted openly without any bans. In my opinion, the top platforms for launching campaigns are:
These ads are cheap but bring great results. You can enter the niche with a budget as low as 100$.
What do you offer your partners? What are your conditions, and rates and why should a webmaster choose to work with Almabet?
Our partners receive everything they need for profitable work. We provide them with everything, from landing pages to all the necessary services depending on the source. CPA rates are discussed individually and there are no budget limitations whatsoever.
We have special conditions for newcomers: the first 2 months of work at 50% RS. As the product is new, the database of players is clean and available for numerous GEOs. Isn’t it a good enough reason to start working with us?
What are the main issues webmasters encounter with your affiliate program and how do you solve them? Do you have any tactics that help you solve these issues quickly?
We haven’t had any issues. We have a big team of experienced professionals who have witnessed lots of situations. If there are any issues in the future, they will be solved fairly.
Do you have a bonus system? There is no information about it on the website and many webmasters see this as a key factor when choosing an affiliate network. Is there anything that you aren’t mentioning publicly?
We are working on the bonus system now. “Generate $200,000 worth of traffic and get a $70,000 car” isn’t an option we’d like to use. We’d like to stand out from the rest. Giving away a little insider info, I can tell you that there’s going to be another game soon. It’s a game very few have, but it’s extremely popular all over the world! Stay tuned for more updates…
How do you train your employees, so that they can work effectively with webmasters? We’ve heard a lot of stories about affiliate managers who can’t even answer the simplest questions about traffic and don’t provide valuable support.
We’re at the starting point now, so we only have experienced managers on our team. It’s very important that webmasters receive all of the support they need, so we’re emphasizing fast and efficient support. We also work on the professional development of our managers. We are constantly providing training courses for them to better their qualifications. Of course, this helps them to earn more!
How do you build relations with webmasters? Have you ever refused to work with anyone? Can you share any negative cases from previous experience?
Everybody knows that the market is overflowing with poor-quality traffic. There are many teams that can generate traffic in a way that can bring fast ROIs. We have almost 7 years of experience in traffic arbitrage. We’ve seen a lot and we know most of the major players on the market. We start with a test period when it comes to new partners. At the end of this period, we decide whether we can continue building our partnership or not. We don’t have any negative cases at the moment. We hope it continues this way!
What is your guide to building relations with webmasters? Tell us everything… from the moment a webmaster shows interest in “Almabet” to the moment they get their payout. How are you different from all the other affiliate networks?
If we compare ourselves to other networks, then a webmaster’s journey is always the same… starting with tests, and ending with payouts. I think the only different thing, is the amount of the “hold”. We mainly stand out because of the GEOs and sports events we offer that other brands simply don’t have. We have exquisite rare offers that may attract any webmaster to make our affiliate program their main source of income. Our reputation is very important to us, so we try to build trusting relationships with webmasters to make sure that all partnerships are long-term.
Which traffic sources do you accept? Are there any sources you would refuse immediately? List them, please.
We accept all RS sources. As for CPA and Hybrid, we accept everything, except fraud, multi-access, motivated traffic, and context that wasn’t discussed and agreed on beforehand.
How do you motivate webmasters to work with you in the long run and do you provide them with any special working conditions? Usually, networks provide a standard mix of offers. Do you have any specialties?
Yes, we do. For example, we have the ”Generous Lifetime Commission”, that allows webs to earn a passive income. Our main advantage is that regardless of the KPI, your risks are minimal. Because of the 50% RevShare, our commission rate model is very profitable for both beginners and experienced partners. Of course, we also have closed GEOs, an empty database, and a huge variety of games and betting opportunities.
Do you have any major plans for 2024? Is there anything you plan to change in your work with your partners? Any new functions, or opportunities that you want to introduce in the near future?
In 2024 we plan to launch our new 50% RevShare offer for all GEOs, sources, and volumes. I think it will be a great offer for new webmasters that don’t have a lot of traffic yet. It’ll help them earn lots of money with us.
Share some of your coolest experiences with your webmasters. What are you proud of? Have there maybe been some exceptional cases where you didn’t believe it would work out, but it did anyway?
I can tell you one thing for sure — all of our experiences have been “cool”. We’re ready to work in such a way that keeps everyone satisfied. We’ve got lots of ways that can help a web progress and thrive. We always believe in our success and we’re always able to make the impossible happen.
Conclusion
The gambling industry continues to thrive in a way that is impossible to ignore. Sabong and cyber sports are gaining popularity. Generating traffic for them is cheap and there’s low competition, which means that even inexperienced webmasters can earn money. The key is generating high-quality traffic that will bring high returns. Hard and transparent work will help build partnerships with affiliate networks like Almabet and receive high bonuses and payouts.
