Malta is a location where everyone comes, there is more audience here — 20k+ versus 4k in Belgrade. There was a lamp in Belgrade, a lot of acquaintances, and so on. In Malta, on the contrary, almost all the faces were new — we managed to get acquainted with local media from Latin America, Great Britain, India (if we talk about marketing).
Representatives of foreign companies, providers, and products made up about 60% of the audience. The conference itself is a hybrid and is not focused only on affiliates.
The excitement about betting was not explosive, despite the fact that this World Cup is especially interesting for a number of factors. There were few discussions, but both operators and affiliates admit in personal conversations that they want to take a bigger bite of the pie, for this reason they are very active, but "quietly".
There were just a million reports, as well as print magazines where top management representatives give interviews.
Malta is generally small, and for this country, an event like SIGMA is a fierce investment in the country's economy: hotels, tickets, travel expenses, construction, furniture, electricity and everything else. Therefore, the Prime Minister personally comes to the conference to support the exhibitors and express gratitude for their participation.
The official SIGMA party was incendiary) The guys from the Conversion $ also had a very cool location in the palace. I just died of beauty.
Thanks SiGMA for the opportunity to network for 3 days from morning to late at night with the best people in the field. I met so many relevant contacts that I need to take off from work and connect with everyone for setups and close cooperation) The scale of the conference impressed me the most. This is definitely the largest conference I've been to in my entire career in our industry) Two pavilions and 30k participants.
I am very pleased that the first conference I went to was held in Malta and on such a large scale!I will never forget the first day of work at the stand, when my hands even trembled a little from excitement and expectation. But after the first acquaintances, I realized that all the people who came to the conference were very friendly and as interested as possible in productive cooperation!
It is a great honor to represent the company on such a large scale and communicate with a huge number of experienced specialists in our field. I can say that it was there that I felt what stressful situations are and how to adapt to them.
The first day of the conference was the most physically and mentally difficult, it was both funny and scary. We ran around like we were stung in order to have time to communicate, collect contacts, and much more
And it was also quite funny to switch, at the moment, from one language to another (English, Ukrainian and Russian). And when communicating, for example, in Russian, English phrases or answers slipped through. It's the same with other languages, and it was very funny.
It so happened that we were a very small group there and, perhaps, this is what created such a family and warm atmosphere that everyone will support each other and help in any way they can. It's incredibly valuable. I am sure that the guests also felt this vibe and therefore returned to our stand again and again
3 days flew by like 3 hours due to meetings, new acquaintances and activities at the stands. We were also pleased with the entertainment program from the organizers and brands, which creates the right atmosphere for communication. From a professional point of view, we were struck by some brands that tried to do something new and different from what we are used to seeing. Without stint on imagination, the exhibitors used three-dimensional decorations, media screens, interactive solutions
