How Much Can You Earn?

The amount you will earn varies; however, we know that with these AI tools, you will be able to create more books and earn more. Researching this niche to find the types of books with high prices will aid in increasing Amazon sales. So, by showing you an example in this article, we will give you an idea of how much you are likely to earn.

After conducting extensive research, we discovered "The 5-Minute Stories" to be a very good storybook with high sales on the platform; therefore, we can follow how it is made, and we are on our way to making a fraction of its sales. It costs $10.99 and already has 5 391 comments. It is always assumed that the number of comments is at least 10% of the total number of buyers; thus, it is assumed that this book has generated approximately $50 391 in sales, and publishers are only entitled to a 70% royalty on sales generated. That means the writer has made at least $35 273.7 if no paid advertising is used to promote it.

How to Create Children Story Books with ChatGPT

Because of the available technologies, it is much easier to write books these days than it was in the past, and ChatGPT is one of the most recent innovations we can use to easily create content.

Step 1: Create a title for your book.

To create a title, input "create the title for a storybook for kids" in ChatGPT, and the result we got at the time of writing this article was "The Adventures of Sparky and Friends". To get more titles of books you can write, you can input "Write 5 more". The result we got is:

1. The Magical Forest of Wonders

2. The Brave Little of

3. The Curious Case of the Missing Treasure

4. The Enchanted Kingdoms of Dreams, and

5. The Misadventures of a Mischievous Monkey.

Out of all these titles, you can choose one to develop a story, and for this tutorial, we have decided to go ahead with "The Curious Case of the Missing Treasure".

Step 2: Create an outline for your topic

To create an outline, input "create chapters outline for + title + story". For our example, our input is: "create chapters pages outline for The Curious Case of the Missing Treasure storybook". Here is the output we got:

Chapter 1: The Mysterious Map

Chapter 2: On the Trial of the Treasure

Chapter 3: The Secret Cave

Chapter 4: The Clues Unravel

Chapter 5: The Danger Ahead

Chapter 6: The Surprising Discovery

Chapter 7: The Treacherous Thief

Chapter 8: The Final Showdown

Chapter 9: A Happy Ending

Step 3: Write your storybook

To start writing chapter 1 of the storybook, we will need to input "Chapter # + Title of Chapter + write rhythm story". For our example, we will input: "Chapter 1 The Mysterious Map write rhythm story", and the algorithm starts writing the story by itself as shown below:

Always double-check the story to ensure that it is both interesting and relevant to the purpose for which you intend to use it. If not, you will need to rewrite the story until you are satisfied that the quality of the generated content meets your requirements.

Step 4: Create images for your storybook

We advise that you create the images and pictures you will need to beautify, explain better, and illustrate your stories as soon as ChatGPT has finished writing a chapter for your story. Remember that you are writing for children, and they always understand more when images are included in their storybooks. The traditional method of creating images is to outsource them to graphic designers, and there has been a plethora of advice on how to reduce this cost because it can be enormous. One such piece of advice is to use Fiverr, which has some good designers at reasonable prices. However, we will not outsource the design of the images used in this tutorial because some AI tools can easily create the images we require.

To create images for our tutorial, we will be using Midjouney which is another AI tool designed to generate images from texts. To gain access to this tool, you need to join their Beta version.

Using the tool is easier via their discord; therefore, it is advisable to join their discord also.

For example, the images above were generated with the prompts: "mini dino cute, whole body, lovers twins, with flowers" and "cartoon kawaii panda with divine aureola and Cupid's Bow".

For our example, we will use the title of each chapter as our command to generate images on Midjourney, and here is the command for the first chapter: /The Mysterious Map

The platform generated 4 images which are shown above, and we can choose the ones that best fit our storybook. Below is one of the images generated.

It is possible to generate more than four images with the same prompt by refreshing the prompt command in their discord community. Also, below are the images generated for the second chapter of the storybook with the command: /On the Trail of the Treasure

You will need to save all the images you intend to use on your computer so that you can easily extract them and use them later.

Step 5: Put together your storybook

We've written the content of our storybook and created all of the images we will need for it at this point. Canva is one of the best tools for putting everything together in a way that kids will find our storybook interesting. We can always use Canva to create ebooks that can be sold on Amazon Kindle or any of its competitors. In Canva, select the story books template category, but select the blank storybook option because we are using images.

The page design for Chapter 1 of our storybook is shown below, and we can have up to 10 pages like this just for this chapter. ChatGPT generated all of the text used with our selected images for each chapter of our storybook. This method saves us a lot of time and money by eliminating the need to outsource the images we used. We simply entered the title of each chapter, and a slew of images was generated, from which we selected the best ones.

We can write up to fifty pages easily with this method and put them together as a storybook that we are going to sell on Amazon Kindle.

Within 72 hours after you have created this storybook with the method we have just described, you can publish it within 5 minutes on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, and it can reach millions of readers. It will appear in the Amazon marketplace within 72 hours; therefore, you do not need to stress yourself marketing it. A 70 percent royalty is an excellent passive income source, and you can easily make more storybooks that you can sell since they will not take you time to produce with ChatGPT.

Promote Your KDP Books

You can promote your books on Amazon to reach a wider audience by using Amazing Ads. Amazon Ads helps you to connect with customers through ads that appear in Amazon shopping results and drive the discovery of your brand as an author. Ads are cost-per-click so you only pay when customers click on your ad. You choose how much to bid per click and set your budget, and can create ads for books that are available for purchase or listed for pre-order.

How to Create Amazon Ads

Step 1: Check eligibility requirements

Check eligibility requirements HERE. You can create ads for books you publish through KDP, co-authored books, and books published outside of KDP. For KDP titles, ads are available in the US, CA, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and Australia.

Step 2: Get your detail page ready

Customers who click on your ad will be directed to the product detail page for your book, and a strong detail page can help convert the click into a sale. Make sure your detail page includes a good summary of your title and evidence to back up any claims you make in your ads. (ex: New York Times bestseller).

Step 3: Add your books on Amazon Author Central

Add your books to your Amazon Author Central account so they appear on your Author Page. For traditionally published titles, you must add at least one pen name and at least one book to your Author Central account before you can start advertising.

Step 4: Register for an advertising account with your KDP credentials

Step 5: Launch your first campaign

Get started with Sponsored Products (products promoted with Amazon ads) because you can help customers find your books by quickly creating ads that appear in related shopping results and product pages. In just a few minutes, you can create a campaign, even if you've never advertised before.

Sponsored Products are cost-per-click (CPC) so you only pay when customers click on your ad. You choose how much to bid per click and set your budget. Watch an introduction video and learn more about Sponsored Products.

After launching your campaign, it will go through a review process called moderation. Learn more about ad moderation.

Step 6: Manage your ads

After you’ve launched your first campaign, visit the Ads console at advertising.amazon.com to see your performance, manage your campaigns, and launch new campaigns. Keep in mind that your ads will only display in the Amazon Ads console, they will not appear in your KDP Bookshelf or KDP reports.

Conclusion

Books can now be easily created even if you are not a writer using an AI tool, and we discussed how to do so in this article. It must be given commands to produce wonderful books. We can not only generate low-quality content but also write chapters for our books to make them look professional.

Because our focus is on children's books, we require beautiful images on the inside, and Midjourney, another AI tool, is used for this. It is recommended that you join their Discord community because it is easier to create high-quality images there. Finally, we can use Canva to combine generated text and images to produce ebooks we can sell on Amazon KDP.
