AI-generated content is completely dominating the content-creating game right now. YouTube channels like, "10x Income," have gained over 250 000 subscribers and over 8 million views in just under 5 months.
Additionally, this Instagram theme page, since the 5th of May (so 20 days), has generated an insane amount of views and over 130 000 followers. So, what is it that they're both doing? They're both using AI to generate an image and then animating the image with a voiceover so it looks like it's talking in a video.
I saw this and immediately jumped online to try to learn how they were doing it so I could recreate it for my own Instagram theme page. In this article, I'm going to break down a step-by-step tutorial on how you can generate content like this for your Instagram theme page so you can go viral before it gets oversaturated. It seems that just because this type of content is completely new to all these social media platforms, even if it's super simple to create, it's performing really well, seeing as people have never seen this type of content before. So the time right now is to capitalize on these new ideas.
For these steps, we are going to use ChatGPT for generating the text for the script. We are going to need an image generated. You can use Mid-Journey, or use Dall-E.
Then, we're going to need to generate a voiceover using a brand new software called DupDub which makes realistic AI voiceovers, so it'd be perfect for creating an engaging video. Finally, I'm going to take our generated image and the voiceover and put it into D-ID which is going to animate our image to make it look like it's talking. Simple as that. Are you ready? Let's jump into the step-by-step tutorial.
So, I'm going to break down the method of how you can use this strategy. The same method that the Instagram theme page, "Billionaire Rule," is using and has been able to generate millions and millions of views from the AI-generated videos. So that's going to be method one.
Creating the Script with ChatGPT
So, we can start by getting ChatGPT to generate 5 influential people from history and their most famous quotes. That's exactly what I did here, and it gave me a list of five influential people, and Gandhi was one of them.
So we are going to use Gandhi’s quote. I'm just going to copy the quote from there.
Generating the Image with MidJourney
Next, we need to generate an image on Mid-Journey. Here's a little Mid-Journey hack for you guys: when you sign up for Mid-Journey, you don't need to go into Discord to see all the things.
You can use the Explore feature that allows you to search other people's creations, so you don't actually have to create them and use your own token. Top hack if you're going to pay the $10—don't waste your tokens. Search up other people's creations.
As you can see, this one below is my selection, my photo for Gandhi, so I'll save it.
Using Dupdub to Create the Voiceovers
Now that we've done the text and the image, we need to use the text-to-speech software called DupDub. It's fantastic because they offer you a trial for 3 days with the premium features. DupDub just gives you 30 script generations per day, so you can get so much out of the free account for this one.
So in DupDub, they've got a text-to-speech tool that we're going to be using. We're going to just paste in the quote from Gandhi:
Then we're going to be choosing the voice. There are so many different available voices to be able to use and they sound so realistic.
So, once you're happy with your voice selection, you can then export it as an MP3 audio.:
Now, you've got the audio file, you've got the image, you need to go into software called D-ID to animate the image/ make the image talk.
Animating the Image with D-ID
D-ID is an AI tool that lets you make an AI video from an image. I basically animate the images matching them with the audio or text scripts provided. So on D-ID, you go into "Create video", then you upload the picture.
Once you have uploaded the picture, you’ll have to upload your voice, and then you just click generate video.
That will generate the video of that, and as you can see, this is what I generated here.
Now we can download and use that.
Editing in CapCut
Now we've got the video, now it's time to do the editing aspect in CapCut. What we want to do is open up CapCut, and we're going to just do three simple edits for this.
- Edit the video speed to slow down the voice change, and make it a little bit more suspenseful.
- Create text auto-captions and then create. This will automatically create these captions, and then you want to go in and you want to change them to the Bold font, and add an animation to the text.
- Add a filter effect, most preferably the spark effect.
You would also want to add a watermark on the video bearing your Instagram theme page’s logo or name. And now all you need to do is add your animation.
Sharing on Social Media
Now that we've made the video. You’d want to export this video and you want to send this to your phone, and you can upload it now on Instagram.
Don't forget to use a background sound from Instagram because it will help your reel to get more reach because then that will put you into categories of the reels for that sound. Just put the background sound at a very low volume.
You can also do the same for TikTok and then share the video to YouTube Shorts as well.
You can also basically use the same approach to get a longer video which you can repurpose for YouTube just like the “10x income” YouTube channel does. Another strategy to launch a faceless channel similar to 10x income can be found here.
