If you're looking for fresh insights to boost your earnings right now, you’ll find them in the networking opportunities and expert talks at MAC.

With two months to go, the MAC team sat down with industry leaders to discuss the hottest trends for 2025, the importance of conferences, and how to maximize your gains at such events.

MAC 2024's featured experts include Yaroslav Babich, Igor Gorbatov, Dmitry Buzaev, Pavel Panov, Andrey Dosha, Dmitry Duff, Alexander Sobko, and Denis Narizhny.

MAC’24 predictions that paid off

There is always a discussion about the hottest trends, but real cases and hands-on experience truly prove their value. This is especially true for conference experts at MAC’24. Many emerging trends were discussed, and they have since been confirmed a thousand times over.

“PWA apps were a hot topic at recent conferences, and this trend has definitely lived up to the hype. PWA has significantly lowered the barrier to entry for traffic and made it much easier for new teams without their own tech base or infrastructure,” – Igor Gorbatov.

His words confirm and complement by Alexander Sobko:

"If we talk specifically from a traffic perspective, the key moment was PWA. At the beginning of the year, Android apps started crashing massively, and everyone switched to PWA. While it's not a new tool, but rather a well-forgotten old one, it became relevant again when apps died.

PWA proved itself: the conversion was no worse, and sometimes even better. The industry has learned how to work with them technically, properly optimizing ad campaigns, and this trend has taken off really well.

The second point is the strict regulation in Brazil, which showed that not all trends work as expected. Everyone saw how quickly Brazil was regulated, and it became an irrelevant geo for webmasters and arbitrageurs. You can still drive traffic there, but there's nowhere to sell it — advertisers just stopped buying it.

So, we have one positive trend - PWA, which really worked, and one negative legalization, which closed off one of the key geos."

Yaroslav Babich added:

"For us, the trend of team consolidation worked. The shift from the era of small media buying teams to the era of media buying companies and holdings."

His words were confirmed by Dmitry Buzaev:

"Yes, what turned out to be true is that large groups of companies with an internal ecosystem are staying afloat, while small companies are finding it increasingly difficult to survive."

Each speaker highlighted key takeaways for themselves, but you can watch the full recordings of the MAC'24 presentations on the YouTube channel.

What topics to expect on MAC’25?

Alexander Sobko highlighted the main trends for 2025:

“1. AI is no longer the future—it’s the present. By 2025, it will be everywhere: from automated creative generation and A/B testing to real-time ad campaign optimization. Those who master it first will stay ahead of the game.2. Influencer traffic keeps growing, but not everyone knows how to use it effectively. It’ll be interesting to hear success stories and learn which strategies will work best this year.

3. While everyone fights for the most popular markets, there are regions with low competition and high-profit potential. The key is knowing how to spot these opportunities and be the first to enter. This is definitely a topic worth discussing.”

Igor Gorbatov added:

“The end of 2024 and the start of 2025 showed us that crash slots are more alive than ever—and they come in many forms. I expect to see a lot of insights and case studies on unconventional slots.”

What is unique in the MAC affiliate conference?

At first glance, a multi-vertical approach might seem like a lack of deep focus on a specific niche—but is that really the case? Many attendees and speakers say otherwise: looking at your project through the lens of different verticals and geos can spark entirely new strategies.

“Year after year, the majority of MAC talks stand out for their depth and practicality. The stories and case studies shared by speakers are truly inspiring. After MAC’24, our team successfully implemented several ideas sparked by KJ Rocker’s presentation.” – Denis Narizhny.

In addition, many key industry players can only be met and heard at the MAC affiliate conference

"For me, it was valuable to meet in person the members of PPC.CLUB, with whom I had previously only communicated in writing," – Andrei Dosha.

How to get value from the conference?

"Leave your shyness behind and fill your schedule with meetings to make new connections at the conference. One of the key things to think about before meeting someone is what you can offer them in terms of networking (information) when you make contact," – Dmitry Duff.

Denis Narizhny adds:

"Don't miss the Preparty and Afterparty, a lot of valuable connections happen in the informal setting."

"I recommend not missing side events and spending as much time as possible at the booths," – Pavel Panov.

"Find out in advance who will be at the conference: research companies based on your interests, and check the booth layout. It wouldn’t hurt to go through your contacts, ask about their plans for the conference and schedule meetings. Otherwise, you'll end up wandering aimlessly during the event. Although, this could work if you don't hesitate to start a conversation," – Yaroslav Babich.

MAC is growing every year, and in 2025, over 4,000 attendees are expected! That means even more opportunities for valuable networking. Moreover, you will find 150+ top companies at the expo.
