I used to buy pushes, they've worked just fine, conversion is also not bad, if it's set up properly. After adding in-stream I've decided to test it and the results surprised me. Skip is small - 5 seconds, but they convert even better than the pushes. I use VAST (they offer their own program for generation, and it's possible to do rotation and edit the code). I advice this affiliate program to anyone who's into dating niche.
