Recently, a whistle-blowing Youtube channel known as “Ministry of Truth” made a video calling out a guy called Anton Redkin, exposing him as an internet scammer who publicly pretends to be an affiliate marketer and sells fake courses to young people. He promises them that they will be successful affiliate marketers as he is.
Anton Redkin fell under the scope of the Ministry of Truth and was exposed in a Youtube video that showed how he has been carrying out his scams. In this article, we are bringing you the research made by Ryuk that proved Anton to be a scammer, this includes how he was able to deceive hundreds of people into his affiliate marketing courses, a review from a student who bought his course for 120 000 Rubles ($1 900) And the disappointments people got after paying that money.
“I will prove to you why Anton Redkin is a scammer.”, Ryuk, the owner of The Ministry Of Truth Youtube channel.
Who Is Anton Redkin?
Anton is a guy from a wealthy family, all of whose "achievements" are financed by his father. Anton positions himself online as:
In the description of his profile on Instagram, Anton noted that he makes money in his Lamborghini while it’s in traffic.
The entrepreneur built his online character as someone who helps "ordinary guys" earn money in online marketing the same way he earns his income. In other words, Anton teaches how to make money online.
In 2013, Anton wanted to become an actor. Research by the Ministry of Truth shows that he has never posted his resume on a website to find acting jobs. However, he managed to reveal his acting talent on social media channels like Vine where he appeared under the nickname "Redtonie," as he filmed the then-popular vine videos.
He collected millions of views on his short videos since such content has always been in trend.
Anton's Business Path
In October 2021, Antonio posted a vacancy for a call center operator in a laser hair removal salon. But Redkin's business is registered for two types of activities:
These activities indicate that the business is registered mainly for the promotion of online courses.
Social Media Promos
Anton began his career when he was still at university. In one of the interviews, he said he offered friends and classmates to buy promos/ shoutouts from him.
According to Ryuk, Anton's social media page was of low quality.
"He took a lot of money for shit. Therefore, the sale of promos can be considered his first scamming experience," said the "Minister of Truth."
After graduation, Antonio disappeared from the media space for some time.
Joining the Affiliate Marketing Space
The major trend for training courses on affiliate marketing could not go without Antonio's attention. And now, the recent admin of popular social media pages changed his career into an experienced affiliate.
The first appearance of Redkin in the media space as an affiliate marketer occurred in the stories and vlogs of Mallorca.
The appearance of Antonio in the company of reputable experts contributed to the buildup of his new Instagram account to 30 000 followers in a relatively short period.
Antonio made the first monetization of the audience by selling a course on how to create and promote your social media page and make money on it.
The notorious Sunat Makhkamboev (Another Guru) was involved in the promotion and sale of the course by Anton. It is still not known whether the buyers of the course were able to earn money by promoting pages using this training. It is only known for sure that Redkin and his company managed to "make some money” off the course sales.
Anton Redkin had a partner called Pavel Pasha, with whom he launched all of his info business projects. Judging by the information on the Internet, Pavel is an even more "sophisticated scammer" than Anton but leads a less public life, unlike Antonio. For that reason, they launch all projects from Anton's accounts.
In social networks, Pavel positions himself as a self-made entrepreneur.
Ownership of the Lamborghinis
The channel provided screenshots confirming the ownership of a large fleet of high-end cars by the Redkin family. In addition, the scammer’s father is the owner of several large enterprises including one which is engaged in oil production.
"I hope that most of you are no longer in doubt," the "Ministry of Truth" said.
After some time, the Instagram account owned by Anton was promoted by Pavel with dubious strategies and it grew to 150 000 followers. The guys decided to promote their affiliate marketing courses to that audience generated on IG.
Anton changed his career from an admin of social media pages to an affiliate marketer, not just a regular affiliate, but an affiliate with 6 years of experience.
Judging by the course reviews, many people bought it after popular influencers.
From this, we can conclude that to get targeted traffic, the guys thoroughly invested in promotion and connected all possible channels.
The Ministry of Truth says that, when it came to media buying, Anton and Pavel knew absolutely nothing. One day they met Andrey Sidoropulo, the owner of an online marketing agency who taught them a few things about affiliate marketing. Then the guys came up with the idea to sell affiliate marketing courses.
Andrey Sidoropulo also had his courses that taught how to advertise on Facebook and the idea of Antonio and Pavel’s course was about promoting with Google, so their courses did not compete directly with each other. Thanks to this, Andrey helped them to create the course and it was promoted on social media channels.
About the distribution of roles in the creation and promotion of the course, The Minister of Truth said the following:
"Anton was the promoter — the main promotion went through his account. An experienced media buyer created the course, and Pavel was the connecting link and the team's brain."
Selling the Course
To sell the course, Anton came up with some sales stories, a classic tactic used by most course sellers like Tai Lopez. Anton created content talking about what affiliate marketing is and how much you can earn on it, and he shared his successful case studies. In one of the stories, he said that a few days ago, he began to advertise a new offer for a streaming service. During this time, he earned 160 000 rubles ($2 500) in just a few days and plans to scale up this campaign.
Of course, he demonstrated a personal account with the "earned amounts" which was very difficult to be noticed and scrutinized by people who don’t do affiliate marketing.
Anton's warm-up videos clearly showed him as an amateur in affiliate marketing.
The second stage in Anton’s sales story was a planned experiment that he promoted as if he wanted to find out if an ordinary person without knowledge of affiliate marketing could earn lots of money after learning from him. To do this, he promised to choose one person from the subscribers to participate in this experiment.
He also created fake competitions amongst his students for the title of the best student. (The students who were used in the competition were fake ones)
After that, there were stories where Antonio showed the team moving to a new office in the Moscow City business center, which he allegedly rented for 500 000 rubles a month ($8 000 per month).
He also demonstrated case studies of his students' earnings. According to Anton, his students earned from 40 000 to 60 000 rubles per week ($650 - $1 000 per week), after their first week of training.
Antonio sold his affiliate marketing course at 4 different pricing levels. The lowest price started at $1 900. The different course packages are described in the screenshot below.
The course was based on sending traffic to offers on affiliate networks that were claimed to be already tested and proven. The information given on the course was taken from open sources and had little to do with real earnings since the offers had already been promoted and saturated by other affiliates.
The course organizers sent the affiliate links of the saturated offers to the students in one large zip archive. Antonio and his partners did not provide any instructions on how to use them or evidence of their effectiveness to the students.
The Second Course
The next course Anton released was about advertising on Facebook. The content of the training was similar to the previous one. It had free Facebook ad tutorials that can be accessed anywhere online and showed how to promote affiliate links on FB. The students were also presented with tutorials on buying traffic from TikTok, Instagram, and Telegram.
According to the Minister of Truth, none of the affiliate links worked and none of the students reported to have made money. The students who complained were usually banned and removed from the course’s chat group.
Anton and his partners replied to the rest of the students that all the links were working and it was not their fault that the students could not use them to make money.
The video blogger cited the correspondence of one of the students with Anton Redkin, in which he intended to file an official complaint against the information course he had bought. You can see the correspondence in the carousel.
The Minister of Truth cited a conversation between Anton’s assistant and a student of one of the training courses whereby the student complained that nothing promised on the course’s sales page was true; from a personal meeting with Anton to providing a profitable campaign. To summarize all the statements of the student about the course, we can use one of his sentences:
"They gave us basic information and jumped off."
Conclusion
Anton Redkin appeared in the investigation of the "Ministry of Truth" as one "scammer" from a large group of info-business scammers. The only thing that separates Antonio from other Russian scammers in the affiliate marketing space like Andrei Sidoropulo and Sorunat Makhkamboev is that he is from a wealthy family. The initial capital for promoting the courses was not earned from his affiliate marketing endeavors but from his father's oil money.
