My experience in affiliate marketing is small, but my experience in marketing is huge. Marketing is marketing, but I stepped on a rake with Dao.ad. I've wanted to work in affiliate marketing, and after I had more or less succeeded with teasers and other channels, I've decided to try pushes.
What attracted me to the network Dao.ad:

- Exactly half of the clicks do not come either in the affiliate program, nor in the tracker. Empty. They are bots.
- The second point, which at first I fell for - there are really unknown conversions that come right at the first test. Especially if the conversion is a registration (which is still ok) or filling out a form. It hangs in the affiliate program in the pending status, then cancels or goes into trash. This is confusing and you do not see the real picture. Conversions force you to make another deposit and spin the campaign, optimize. Although it is not clear what there is to optimize with this kind of work. I would have regretted it if I had invested $50-100 $ to work with a normal network. I so went into deficit. I've decided to try to test attracting an audience to the site through push notifications. I will compare the result (or rather its complete absence) with google ads. For google ads from about 150 clicks there are already visible results (not sales, but activity), referrals to links on the site, joining the group vk, contact for more information. Yes, clicks on google are a little more expensive than on Dao.ad, but I have already spent more than 150 clicks here. According to their statistics I have 3418 ad clicks, according to my site statistics there are about 1700 clicks. For this number of clicks there is no result at all, no clicks on links from the site, no calls to contacts. But for some reason decided to screw me on the duration of visits to the site. With google ads it was an average of 20 seconds. In Dao.ad it rose sharply on the first day to 4 minutes, it's just funny, people sit and look at the information on the site longer, but do nothing) All this I look in google analytics, which is connected to the site.

I've decided to test this network on the traffic popunder. I've send traffic for the test on 10 dollars, 1.5 were given as a bonus and that's 11.5 dollars. Drove on the video on youtube, it served as prelanding of the offer, the link to the offer was under the video. Offer was about making money on the internet with good conversions in other traffic sources.
On average if you take other traffic from let's say browser extensions next, from 1000 visits, there were on average 20-30 clicks on links to offer and about 1-3 sales. With this network I got 28000 clicks and NO ONE goes to the site of the offer NO ONE!!! Thus, I drove traffic of 11.5 dollars that is about 800 rubles. When the browser extensions at 1000 clicks for 110 rubles had at least some kind of result, which I described above. Tell me, if it were all 28000 hits were made by people at least 1 could go to a link even for the sake of interest? But I didn't get no transitions.
Conclusion: in my opinion there are solid bots. Well it can not be so that 28k people have not once made a single click. I do not know how else it can be called as not a bot traffic!

15% loss for pops is the norm.
If you repurchased 10000 clicks at $0.1, it is $1, and this amount does not say anything at all.
