SEO vs AIO: A 6-Figure AI Content Blueprint for 2023

If you're starting or growing a blog in 2023, it's important to know about the differences between AIO (Artificial Intelligence Optimization) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and how to make use of them. In today's world, one AI tool can replace the work of 10 writers and at the same time finish their work 10x faster.

In this article, we are analyzing the differences between traditional SEO and the new AIO content generation models through research made by Adam Enfroy, a 7 figure blogger and owner of the Blog Growth Engine Program. Adam goes ahead to explain in detail why he believes AIO is better than traditional SEO and how to get started with.

“When I began my blog, I had to write everything myself. Then, I hired a human writer for $200 per blog post. Now, with the same $200, I can generate 8 blog posts in just 30 minutes with a few clicks.” Adam Enfroy.

AI is rapidly changing content creation. We can now replace a team of 10 writers with a few AI tools at a much lower cost. So, as you use these tools, switch your mindset from traditional SEO writers to AIO writers (AI Optimization Writers). Traditional SEO writing is time-consuming and tedious.

Traditional SEO Writing vs AIO riting

When I started my blog, I wrote every article myself, typing every single word, drafting, rewriting, formatting, doing on-page SEO, and more. It took me hours for a 2 000-word article. This process is slow and not ideal for 2023.

AI-driven writing is efficient and cost-effective. An AIO writer could be yourself or someone you hire. They start with a one-click AI-optimized article, which is almost complete. They then add finishing touches like editing, formatting, customization, accuracy checks, SEO optimization, and a human touch to make it rank-worthy. You can't simply copy-paste an article from AI tools like ChatGPT. While these tools help, human involvement is crucial for quality. However, this process is faster.

In the past, hiring an SEO writer was challenging. Training them to match your writing style took a lot of time and effort. You had to master your style first, then train them through hours of feedback and revisions. It was a time-consuming process.

The new approach is to hire an AIO writer, train them to edit in your style, and provide them with an AI-generated article as a starting point. You pay them based on the number of finalized optimized articles they produce. This allows you to focus on higher-level tasks while the content creation is taken care of, significantly increasing productivity compared to traditional SEO writing.

Mastering the Process First

To start, set up your blog and master the process yourself. I recommend using WPX for web hosting – they're fast and offer excellent support. Check the link below to set up your domain and website. Master the process with the tools I'm about to show you. Once you're familiar, you can train others to do it, scaling up your content creation.

SEO Writer vs AIO Writer

So, what's the difference between an SEO writer and an AIO writer? A traditional SEO writer would take around five hours for a 2500-word article, costing around $300 ($250 for writing and $50 for editing). This is about $50 per hour, which is standard in the SEO world.

Now, when we think about the new AIO writer model, basically, it takes 5 minutes to create the initial article. So, you can use something like Content at Scale, or you could use Surfer AI, or you could use other tools. But I really like Content at Scale the most. For this, five minutes, your 2500-word article is done with a few clicks. $25 to set it up, one-hour editor's fee, fifty dollars. Total of about an hour, you can create an article in about an hour, 65 minutes for $75. So, this is 1/6 of the time spent and a quarter of the cost.

AIO Writing Tools

When we think about the history of these AI writing tools, it kind of started with something like Jasper, where you're kind of generating prompts, but you're doing a lot of manual work, you're writing a lot of stuff in there. Now, it's getting better and better after Chat GPT-4 came out, and it's getting to the point now where you put in your keyword in tools like Content at Scale of Surfer AI, and in one click the article is done.

So, let's look at a couple of these AI content-generating tools:

1. Content at Scale

In Content at Scale, I can enter the target keyword and the tool will create a full article that's optimized toward that keyword.

So, let's say I want to write an article on "best camera for blogging." I'm going to make it 2 000 to 3 000 words. You can add additional context, but I'm not even gonna do that. I just click on "Create Post," and then in 5 to 7 minutes, the article will be completely finished.

So, I just put the target keyword in, and it gives you the perfect format. It has an introduction with the target keywords. It's got the table of contents with all the content. It even has callouts. It has the best options with extra features. And then, it goes over all of the different choices for vlogging requirements. It has headings and all the stuff that you need for the actual written content.

So, you could give an AIO writer this article, rather than them starting from scratch and paying for every single word.

2. Surfer AI

Surfer AI takes around 7 minutes to complete an article, so a couple of minutes longer than Content at Scale, but it comes up with a more detailed article.

It generates complete articles with a short summary up front, headings, and all the required stuff. And then, it also already has good Surfer SEO scores. It also shows the list of semantic keywords included. It also has an AI content checker and it shows this article is 66% human language which is better.

So, again, you give this to an AIO writer, rather than starting from scratch and having them write from nothing, and the optimization, adding human elements, and, you know, knowing exactly what to do, is pretty easy.

The Framework for Using AIO Writing

So, the framework we are going to use to edit the article after getting it from the AI tool is called the Craft Framework which was created by Content at Scale, basically. This is for every article you write, you want to do the following:

  • Cut the fluff

So, you put it through the AI tool, you put your keyword in, and then first, you cut the fluff. A lot of the time there's irrelevant stuff, or it's just kind of boring. Like AI content is generally boring, so you want to edit sentence structure, you want to edit and change some things up, add some more interesting sentences, you know, make it more fun, make it more personal, tell your unique story, add your story, add your human elements to it. If it's about products, add pros and cons, what you know about them, or your own unique experience. Cut the fluff.

  • Review, edit, and optimize for humans and SEO

This would be like adding it into a tool like Surfer. You know, checking that the scores are good for on-page SEO. It has all the right semantic keywords, headings, length, and all of that.

  • Add images and visuals

Then, you want to add your images, your visuals, and your media to enhance the content. So, add some images in. That's pretty simple.

  • Fact-check the article

Definitely want to fact-check the content because we can't trust these AI tools to be 100% accurate, especially when it comes to recommending products. If you're writing an article on a piece of software, you want to actually check the website, check the pricing, and check that the features are accurate. Use it if you can do a free trial. Get the best experience you can and actually give your unique take on it because you want to establish trust as well through your tone, your style, your internal links, external links, and all of that stuff.

  • Establish trust through anecdotes, tone/style, and links

These are the final SEO formatting touches that need to get done, like adding the links in, adding more keywords in, you know, making sure the SEO scores are good. But really, it comes down to, "How can I make this human experience-based article?" It's more of how can I add in my own unique take, things that an AI tool can't do.

So, that's what we call the Craft Framework, which was created by Content at Scale.

Creating an article from start to finish with AIO
For every article you create with AIO, you have to follow these simple steps in order to have it fully optimized:

  1. Determine the keyword
  2. Write your prompt
  3. Have the AI tool generate your article
  4. Export it to Google Docs
  5. Run through Grammarly
  6. Paste it into the AI tool for Natural Language Processing review
  7. Use the CRAFT framework to edit
  8. Aim to get a 75+ score
  9. Use Canva to create and add images
  10. Export to WordPress and publish

You might use custom images, which could take up most of your time—editing the article for humans and then adding images. This step takes the longest, but it's not as time-consuming as it used to be when writing every word by hand. Once you're done, you can export it to WordPress and hit publish.

Alternatively, you can transfer the text to Google Docs and make your final edits like adding images. Then, you can use a tool like Mammoth Converter in WordPress. It'll convert the entire article into WordPress, and the images will automatically be added to your media library with the file names you provided. This process is quite straightforward and efficient.

AI Blogging Seems to Be the Way to Quickly Establish Topical Authority

Looking ahead, AI blogging seems to be the way to quickly establish topical authority. Topical authority means being seen as an expert by Google. It involves extensively covering a niche area, so your content is more comprehensive than others. AI allows for faster content creation.

A tool like Content at Scale can replace the need for multiple writers. So, instead of needing 10 writers, you might only require one AI writer and yourself. The key is to first master this process and get comfortable with AI tools.

Summary

Starting a blogging business doesn't necessarily mean you have to rely on AI tools forever. You can still write everything yourself or involve SEO writers. AI writing can speed up the process, especially if others are also using it. Staying on the cutting edge of online business is crucial for relevance. Therefore, consider incorporating AI into your strategy. Focus on high-level activities rather than getting bogged down in writing.

When running a blogging business, prioritize tasks that make a significant impact, like link building, affiliate marketing, and forming partnerships. Concentrate on driving traffic and growing revenue. Instead of struggling with content creation, delegate writing tasks to others. This approach can boost your output. In the past, it might have been suggested to write one or two articles per week, but now, you should aim to publish more, as long as the content maintains its quality.

Avoid overusing AI-generated articles, as these tools are accessible to everyone. To stand out, infuse your articles with a human touch. Make them better than those that merely make minor edits to AI-generated content.
