Let's dive into this article...

The Product

Anthony chose to sell the Turbo grip hand gripper for this particular dropshipping business, and this exercise equipment is specifically designed for the tendons and muscles of the hands. The manufacturer believes that users of electronic devices such as computers and mobile phones may experience muscle strain and may require rehabilitation training. You can easily improve the strength of your fingers, forearms, and wrists by using the hand gripper. You can also work on the flexibility of each finger separately. There are different strength levels, each suitable for a different person, and no elastic bands are required. It is ideal for those who must practice the piano, guitar, or other musical instruments, which causes muscle and finger joint strain.

Anthony said,

"You put the turbo grip hand gripper on your fingers. It's supposed to strengthen your forearm and make you more muscular."

How to Use Dropship.io to Get a Profitable Dropshipping Product

Anthony made use of Dropship, a product research tool that assists you in finding and tracking unique products in stores. The tool has several amazing features, the first of which is its product database, which contains millions of products from other e-commerce stores. Each product in the database includes a wealth of useful information, such as the product's monthly revenue, price, creation date, and more.

It also has an advanced filter system built in that can filter the database based on price, revenue, niche, and other metrics, so you don't have to scroll through hundreds of products to find the one you want.

The sales tracker feature is another great feature of Dropship that Anthony used to learn more about the hand gripper. It is appropriate for spying on your competitors, as we will see later in this post.

Once you've found a product in the product database, you can use a sales tracker to research it and determine whether it's worth selling based on demand. You can track multiple stores in the sales tracker menu and view sales data for today, yesterday, the last seven days, and the previous 30 days.

In the last 30 days, one of the competitors earned around $46,000 in revenue.

Another competitor named "Official Gripster" has garnered 1.9 million views on its Tiktok account, and its store has made around $30 000 in revenue in the last 30 days.

Anthony compared the revenue tracked by dropship.io to the actual revenue made in a Shopify store, and the accuracy is excellent with a small difference in numbers. It is depicted in the screenshot below.

Because two stores are making a decent amount of money from this product, it is sufficient proof that it is a winner. On AliExpress, Anthony discovered that the hand gripper costs $4 per unit. It will cost $6.50 when combined with the shipping fee.

How to Build a Store for a Health and Fitness Niche Product

He added the hand gripper to one of his general niche Shopify stores and promoted it with a $50 Tiktok ad. Unfortunately, the Tiktok ads were suspended, and the ad account was penalized. Before the suspension, however, the $50 Tiktok ads campaign generated five orders for the store, totaling $143 in-store revenue. The total expenses, including the cost of shipping the product to the buyers and the cost of the advertisement, were $84, leaving a profit of $59.

As a result, Anthony had to create a new Tiktok ad account and restart his ad campaign from scratch. He also decided to revamp his hand gripper store page to boost his conversion rate.

The product page before refurbishment is shown in the screenshot below.

Below is the screenshot of the product page after refurbishing.

While talking about his experience in building product pages, Anthony said,

"Usually, when I use these custom-made pages to build my store, my conversion rate is generally higher, and I get more sales."

Custom-made pages are templates you can use when creating a store to save yourself the time and effort of creating store pages from scratch. All you have to do now is import the product you want to sell after you've placed a customized design on your site. After that, you can change the color, logo, and pricing of the product, among other things.

Antony said,

"I bought this custom-made page for $150 in November, and I've been using it for the past three months. It's been very helpful, especially when running TikTok."

How to Run a Scaling Campaign For Your Dropshipping Store

Anthony didn't bother running a TikTok testing campaign for the hand gripper because he had already run one; instead, he launched the scaling campaign.

To start the scaling campaign, log in to your Tiktok ad manager and select "create" in the custom mode. Enter your campaign's name here. Anthony employed a "hand gripper CBO scale" and activated campaign budget optimization.

Anthony used $50 for the testing campaign and $1000 for the scaling, and he says, "If you've never spent up to $1000 on ads before, it may look intimidating, but the more you do it, the more confident you get in the strategy." In one day of testing the product, I had a 40% profit margin, and there are two competitors who each made over $30 000 last month."

Select "Complete Payment" and then click on "Sales for Placement". Enable automated creative optimization and change the location to the United States, as well as the age to 18+. Anthony left the ad interest field blank, as well as every other setting until the uploading of a profile picture and a profile name.

Following the upload of the profile picture and name, the ad videos must be uploaded. For this scaling campaign, he used the same five ad videos he used for the testing campaign. When you choose automated creative optimization, you can upload multiple ad videos and lines of text to a single ad group.

Anthony used the following texts:

Get yours 50 off this week only,

Limited stock available

Guarantees to build strength

Get stronger and

Get yours on sale

To avoid having a broken link in a $1 000 ad, make sure you paste your store's website URL in the required field, and always double-check to ensure the link works. You can use the standard option for the call to action, and then instead of "Learn More", select "Shop Now."  To make the ad group five, make four duplicates of the ad group.

When you duplicate an ad, the time the ad group will launch is reset, so you can change it to any date you want.

Tips for Optimizing TikTok Ads

Optimizing TikTok ads can help you reach your target audience effectively and increase engagement with your content. Here are some tips to optimize your TikTok ads:

  • Define your target audience: Know who your target audience is and their interests. This will help you create content that resonates with them and maximize the chances of engagement.
  • Use eye-catching visuals: TikTok is a visual platform, and your ads should be visually appealing to attract viewers' attention. Use high-quality images or videos, and make sure they are relevant to your product or service.
  • Keep it short and sweet: TikTok videos are typically short, so keep your ads short and to the point. A 15-second video or less is ideal for TikTok.
  • Include a call-to-action: Encourage viewers to take action after watching your ad. Include a clear call-to-action that prompts them to visit your website or make a purchase.
  • Test different ad formats: TikTok offers various ad formats, such as in-feed ads, brand takeovers, and sponsored hashtag challenges. Test different formats to see which one works best for your business.
  • Monitor your campaign regularly: Monitor your campaign regularly and make adjustments as needed. Analyze metrics such as engagement rates, views, and conversions to see how your ads are performing.
  • Collaborate with influencers: Collaborate with popular TikTok influencers to promote your product or service. This can help you reach a wider audience and increase brand awareness.

The Ad Campaign's Outcome

The ad campaign was allowed to run for 24 hours, exhausting its $1 000 ad budget and bringing in 80 orders. The store made approximately $2 500 in revenue, with total expenses, ad spending, and the cost of shipping the hand gripper to the respective buyers totaling approximately $1 700. The total profit from the store was $800, representing a profit margin of 31.92%, and according to Anthony, this is a very profitable campaign with excellent profit potential.

Income Analysis

  • Revenue from the test campaign: $143
  • Ad spent for test campaign: $50
  • Number of orders during the test campaign: 5
  • Income from test campaign: $59
  • Revenue from scaling campaign: $2 507
  • Ad spent for scaling campaign: $1 000
  • Number of orders during scaling campaign: 80
  • Income from scaling campaign: $1 700

Conclusion

In this post, we looked at how Anthony made $2 500 in 24 hours selling a health and fitness product. It is critical to conduct thorough product research because it will determine the success or failure of your dropshipping business.

Anthony conducted his product research using dropship.io, an online dropshipping spy tool, and the product he chose was a turbo hand gripper. The store was built with a $150 custom-made page.

In addition, the store was promoted through a TikTok paid ad campaign, first with a $50 test campaign and then with a $1 000 scaling campaign. It should be noted, however, that you do not have to spend $1 000 on your scaling campaign; it all depends on how much money you have.
