There are two essential updates to the ads API: you can launch Popunder CPM campaigns and modify essential settings in real time. We’re going to break down each one of them for you below in all details.

1. Launch Popunder CPM campaigns via API

You can now create full Popunder CPM campaigns right from your own platform — no need to log in to the Adsterra dashboard every time. That is all thanks to the new POST request system.

Here’s what the new Campaign Creation API lets you do:

  • Create Popunder campaigns
  • Select pricing models
  • Set country, device, OS, and connection targeting
  • Configure budgets, bids, frequency caps, start times, and other settings
  • Add landing URLs and page previews
  • Optimize with CPA Goal and Smart CPM

Make sure to include all required targeting settings when creating a campaign.

The new PATCH request lets you change:

  • Bids
  • Landing URLs and previews
  • Budget caps (total, daily, hourly)
  • Impressions limits (total, daily, hourly)
  • Frequency caps
  • Device types and connection types
  • Start times and scheduling
  • Targets (OS, browser, carrier, IP, location)

You only need to get started

Getting access is easy:

  1. Log in to your Adsterra advertiser account.
  2. Go to Settings → API tab.
  3. Click GENERATE NEW TOKEN.
  4. Copy your token (you won’t see it again after refreshing the page).
  5. Use it in the X-API-Key request header in your calls.
