GameOn Review
7.1/10A gambling-pure B2B communications shop on the Isle of Man since 2007, running eight service lines for iGaming suppliers, studios, and platforms, with 13 client case studies behind it, and pricing on request across every line.
Our read
- Gambling-pure for 19 years: iGaming B2B is the entire book, down to publishing its own regulated-market intelligence through GO Intel, with 47 press releases going out in July 2024 alone.
- A client list running past 50 names, 13 of them written up as case studies, spanning indie game studios to tier-1 suppliers.
- Nineteen years on the Isle of Man under the same two founder-owners, a team of 20, Sarah Blackburn on iGB's 10 Most Influential Women in iGaming list in 2021, and a senior hire who came over from client Swintt.
- No award shortlists under GameOn's own name.
- All eight lines quote on request, so budgeting starts with a call.
- No paid media and no SEO, so a supplier that needs demand generation pairs GameOn with another shop.
iGaming suppliers, game studios, and platforms that want retained B2B PR, a fractional CMO, per-entry award submissions, or market-intelligence reports.
Operators that need player acquisition, paid media, or SEO, since the slate stops at communications, brand, and intelligence work, and buyers who want published pricing before picking up the phone.
Markets & licensing
GameOn has worked out of the Isle of Man since 2007, still run by its two founders.
North America shows up in GameOn's book through client campaigns and GO Intel report coverage rather than any US footprint of its own. There is no US entity or office, so a supplier targeting the US market buys the same Isle of Man-based team working remotely.
The client base and the media relationships center on the UK and Europe, the Isle of Man entity has run continuously since 2007, and the B2B trade press GameOn places into is largely UK-published. The case work is European too, Microgaming's Q1 2026 re-entry including ICE Barcelona 2026 and the Entain award run from 2023 to 2025.

Licensing tier: no gaming license applies to a B2B marketing agency.
GameOn is a B2B communications agency for the supplier side with no player-facing operation.
Clients, partners & engagement
Agencies are judged on the accounts they already run and the platforms and registries they work through. The delivery model shows how the team is staffed day to day.
The engagement is a communications retainer rather than an integration. Work runs through named account managers under Vikki McCausland, the fractional CMO line embeds a strategist on a day-per-week structure, and distribution rides the agency's standing relationships with the B2B trade press.
Proposal speed rather than integration speed: an intro call and brief lead to a scoped proposal, retained PR or a fractional CMO block starts on the next cycle, award submissions run against organizer entry deadlines, and GO Intel is a subscription pickup.
Services & productized lines
Eight service lines sold only to the B2B side of iGaming: retained PR and communications at the core, a post-2024 fractional CMO division, social media management, creative and web design, affiliate marketing and PR, events management, and two productized offerings, per-entry award submissions and the GO Intel market-intelligence reports.

The history
Longevity in this industry usually comes with a change of owner somewhere in it.
Sarah and Andy Blackburn incorporated GAMEON MARKETING LIMITED on the Isle of Man in January 2007 and have owned and fronted it since. The shop grew from B2B iGaming PR into a full communications house for suppliers, studios, and platforms, and it has never sold outside the vertical. In 2024 a marketing division opened under Alex Wilson with a fractional CMO service. The 2025 site relaunch published a library of 13 client case studies.

Longevity and ownership
Switching vendors is expensive, which makes the company's staying power part of the purchase. What the contract says about your data decides how expensive an exit gets.
GameOn vs alternatives
Most buyers in this market shortlist three or four vendors long before they take a single sales call.

Pricing & terms
GameOn quotes pricing per project. Here's how the model and the terms are structured.
The engagement
Nothing is priced on any of the eight lines, so every engagement starts from a brief and a custom proposal. The shapes are set: retained PR under a named account manager, the fractional CMO service sold in day-per-week structures like Microgaming's one-day-a-week arrangement, creative and web work per project, award submissions per entry with multi-entry support, and GO Intel on a bi-monthly subscription cycle. There is no media buying to fund, so this is a communications retainer rather than a performance-marketing spend.
Path to launch
- 1Start with an intro call and brief
- 2Pick the line mix: retained PR, a fractional CMO day-per-week block, per-project creative or web work, per-entry award submissions, or a GO Intel subscription
- 3Kick off under the account management team, with a named PR account manager on retained work
- 4Set the reporting cadence, with placements in the B2B trades the core deliverable on PR retainers and report delivery on the GO Intel cycle
Support & account management
You can't demo service before you sign, so what a vendor puts in writing is the only floor you can hold it to.
