iDenfy Review
6.6/10Kaunas-based identity verification and AML vendor (iDenfy UAB, founded 2017) with a per-check price list: $1.35 for a base check, each add-on priced on its own, a $0.55 Enterprise floor, and billing only for approved verifications. It runs bootstrapped at 50 to 60 people, with no UK DIATF certification, no US state gaming registration, and a gaming book that runs to the TOPsport partnership.
Our read
- Per-check pricing runs $1.35 for a base check, each add-on priced separately, and a $0.55 floor at Enterprise.
- Failed, abandoned, and fraudulent attempts are free: only approved verifications get billed.
- Founder-owned since 2017, with no parent company above it.
- No UK DIATF certification, and the iBeta Level 2 presentation-attack certification is held by FaceTec, whose 3D engine runs the liveness check.
- A thin gaming footprint: TOPsport is the gaming client, in a book where gaming is one vertical among many.
- The Delaware office opened in November 2024 targets fintech and crypto, with no US state gaming registration behind it.
Small-to-mid operators and platforms that want per-check rates they can model up front, billing only for approved verifications, European eID coverage, and KYB plus AML monitoring bundled into the Enterprise tier.
US-regulated sportsbooks and casinos that need a state-registered vendor or a DIATF certificate, and very large operators that weight a deep-pocketed counterparty heavily against a 50-to-60-person vendor.

Platform & capabilities
Everything the product does out of the box. If a feature isn't listed, the vendor either doesn't offer it or doesn't say.
Integrations & engineering
One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.
Everything funnels through one integration: a REST API for a custom build, native iOS and Android SDKs for embedded flows, or no-code onboarding journeys for teams without engineering time. Document, liveness, age, address, AML, and KYB checks ride the same connection, full white-label is included at every tier, and Enterprise adds a dedicated account manager, KYB and AML monitoring as standard, and a 99.9% uptime SLA.
Products & tools
One integration for the whole onboarding job: document verification across 200+ countries, passive or active liveness with face match, age and address checks, AML screening with ongoing monitoring, and KYB business verification.
Identity Verification
Document verification for ID documents from 200+ countries with AI auto-extraction and glare and blur detection, passive or active face liveness with matching, age verification from document DOB plus selfie, and address verification, delivered through API, mobile SDKs, and no-code flows.
- Document verification for any ID document from 200+ countries, language-agnostic with AI auto-extraction
- Passive or active face liveness with matching for onboarding and re-verification, within 15 seconds for re-authentication
- Age verification from document DOB plus selfie and liveness for operator age gating
- Address verification from a utility bill or other proof-of-address doc, PDF or image, under 30 seconds
- Liveness runs on the FaceTec 3D engine, integrated 2020
AML Screening
PEP, sanctions, and adverse-media screening with ongoing monitoring, priced as a per-check add-on instead of bundled into onboarding, and included as standard in the Enterprise tier alongside KYB.
- PEP, sanctions, and adverse-media screening with ongoing monitoring
- Sanctions and PEP screening at +$0.45 per verification on top of the base check
- Ongoing AML monitoring included as standard in the Enterprise tier
- TOPsport runs 5,000+ active users through daily AML monitoring
- Criminal background check and proxy and IP detection available on the online-gaming stack
KYB Business Verification
A full business-verification product line with company data cross-matching and a Dynamic KYB Workflow, included as standard in the Enterprise tier, with no separate contract.
- KYB with corporate data cross-matching, a new system launched November 2024
- Dynamic KYB Workflow enhanced in 2026
- Bundled into the Enterprise tier at no separate line item
- Aimed at fintech, crypto, and B2B onboarding rather than a gaming-specific flow

The history
Longevity in this industry usually comes with a change of owner somewhere in it.
iDenfy UAB was incorporated in August 2017 in Kaunas by Domantas Ciulde, who runs it as CEO and co-founder. It is headquartered at Griciupio g. 7-212 with offices in Lithuania, the UK, and the US. The company grew organically and is still founder-owned, with no institutional venture round. The business is general-purpose RegTech: KYC identity verification, KYB business verification, and AML compliance, sold into fintech, banking, crypto, forex, lending, healthcare and insurance, and gaming, so gaming is one vertical among many. Net sales were up about 60% in 2023.

Longevity and ownership
Switching vendors is expensive, which makes the company's staying power part of the purchase. What the contract says about your data decides how expensive an exit gets.
iDenfy vs alternatives
Most buyers in this market shortlist three or four vendors long before they take a single sales call.

Support & account management
You can't demo service before you sign, so what a vendor puts in writing is the only floor you can hold it to.
