QTech Games Review

5.7/10

A Curacao-licensed aggregator built for Asia, Africa, and LatAm: 5,000+ games and 1,000+ live tables from 100+ studios through one API and one invoice. The US and UK sit on QTech's own restricted-territory list, so it is not an option for either market.

Our take

QTech Games is an emerging-markets distribution business. It moves content from tier-1 studios into Asia, Africa, and LatAm through one API, and QTech Hybrid answers a question street-level African and LatAm betting actually asks: how a session follows a player from a shop terminal to their phone. Package subscriptions are billed on package GGR under one contract and one invoice. For a US or UK buyer it all cuts the other way: one Curacao license, no regulated-market approvals, an undisclosed client book, and both the US and UK on QTech's own restricted list.

Our read

Strengths
  • Tier-1 studios distribute through it: Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, and, since February 2026, Playtech Casino and Playtech Live, plus rest-of-world BNG distribution rights.
  • QTech Hybrid fits how African and LatAm retail betting works: QR session transfer from terminal to phone, agent management, and cash-in at the counter, with innovation awards at SBWA+ 2025 and SPiCE South Asia 2026 to show for it.
  • New content added to a package you already subscribe to lands automatically.
  • Eleven years of continuous operation, and it came through Curacao's licensing reform with a new-era OGL.
  • Localization depth built over a decade: ten site languages, 24/7 support in seven, and regional catalog staples like crash, fish shooting, and Andar Bahar.
Watch-outs
  • The entire global business rests on a single Curacao license (OGL/2024/2063/1128), with the PAGCOR accreditation pending and no MGA, UKGC, US, Brazilian, or African supplier approval.
  • The US and UK sit on QTech's own restricted-territory list, and it holds no license for either market.
  • The client roster stays private apart from GinjaBet in Nigeria, live since November 2025.
  • No public API reference, sandbox, or trial back office, so technical evaluation starts after commercial contact.
  • Pricing on request, with terms negotiated per deal.
Best for

Operators in Asia, Africa, LatAm, or the CIS who want tier-1 and regional casino content through one contract, and retail betting businesses in Africa or LatAm that need the terminal-to-phone bridge and agent management QTech Hybrid was built around.

Not for

Anyone touching the US or UK, since both are restricted by QTech's own terms, and any operator that needs regulated-market supplier approvals, client references, or a public API sandbox before signing.

Where you can run it

Markets & licensing

QTech Games runs its entire global business on one new-era Curacao license. It holds no supplier approval in any regulated market, and its own terms restrict the US and UK.

United States
Restricted

The USA is on QTech's own restricted-territory list, and the company holds no US state supplier license of any kind. There is no path to supplying a US-regulated operator in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or anywhere else through QTech.

United Kingdom
No UKGC

QTech holds no UK Gambling Commission license, and the UK sits on its own restricted-territory list. A GB-licensed operator cannot take content through QTech.

Licensing tier: One license deep. The Curacao OGL is a post-reform license, a step up from the old master/sub-license regime, but it is still the only approval behind a business marketed across Asia, Africa, and LatAm.

The catalog

Casino content

Most of any catalog is the same aggregated shelf every competitor can license. What separates providers is whether any of it is their own work, and whose studios are behind it.

How it connects

Integrations & engineering

One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.

One unified API

One integration into QTech Connect opens the whole catalog: a single API, a unified game launcher, and a wallet integration API offered in seamless or transfer mode. Fiat and crypto currencies ride the same connection, and the commercial wrapper mirrors the technical one, with one contract and one invoice covering every studio in the packages you subscribe to. QTech also runs reversed integrations, acting as the integration partner when an operator wants a studio that isn't in the catalog yet. Under the hood it runs a modular microservices platform with feature-flag rollouts.

Time to integrate

Operators need no development staff of their own, with scoping starting after commercial contact.

The history

Longevity in this industry usually comes with a change of owner somewhere in it.

Founded in 2015 by Jonas Alm to migrate and localize European casino content for Asian markets. A February 2020 merger with games reseller Epic Media brought in NYX Interactive co-founder Staffan Lindgren, who became Global CEO in May 2021, and Philip Doftvik, an ex-LeoVegas director, took over as CEO in late 2024. It remains private.

Pricing & terms

QTech Games quotes pricing per deal. Below is how the model and the terms are structured.

Provider-package subscriptions billed on package GGR rather than per-provider fees. Operators subscribe to one or more studio packages and get one contract, one integration, one back office, one invoice, one payment.

On the supply side, studios get distribution plus optional discount programs aimed at improving player-acquisition metrics.
