Relax Gaming Review
7.5/10Curated casino aggregation from an FDJ United subsidiary: about 4,000 hand-picked games from 70+ partner studios, 100+ of its own titles led by the Money Train franchise, and the Dream Drop cross-operator jackpot network, all behind one API.
Our read
- Curated model: about 4,000 games from 70+ studios picked by hand, against open feeds several times the size.
- Own content as well as aggregation: 100+ in-house titles including the Money Train franchise.
- Dream Drop is a cross-operator jackpot network: roughly EUR 280M paid out since May 2022, 30 Mega winners, and Relax covers all reseed fees.
- Eleven B2B licenses across two European entities and a US subsidiary, UKGC-licensed since 2014, with live US aggregation in NJ and PA since June 2026.
- Financially anchored by FDJ United, a listed group with the French state behind it. Relax's external B2B revenue rose 49.6% to GBP 38.6M in FY2023.
- No public rate cards or minimums. Pricing is quoted per deal.
- Integration documentation is shared under NDA, with no public sandbox or developer portal.
- About 4,000 games is a fraction of what open aggregators carry, and there is no live-dealer line.
- Parent FDJ United also operates B2C brands (Unibet, 32Red, Maria Casino, bingo.com), so the supplier sits inside a group that runs operator businesses of its own.
- The most recent Relax-specific financials date to FY2023, with the business reported inside FDJ United group totals since.
Regulated-market operators in Europe, Ontario and the US that want a hand-picked catalog with a network jackpot on top instead of a 20,000-game feed to sift through. Also studios weighing the two partner routes: Powered By Relax to keep commercial independence, Silver Bullet for full commercial representation.
Operators who buy on catalog breadth, need live dealer from one contract, or want published pricing before the first call. Crypto-first brands get no crypto-native product here, and operators that prefer a supplier outside a group with its own B2C brands will weigh the FDJ United structure.
Markets & licensing
Relax Gaming holds eleven B2B licenses across two European entities and a US subsidiary, from the UKGC and MGA through Scandinavia and Ontario to a young two-state US footprint.
Licensed as an interactive gaming manufacturer in Pennsylvania (PGCB license 158634-1) and supplying New Jersey under a DGE transactional waiver obtained in December 2023, when its own titles went live with BetMGM Casino. On June 10, 2026 the company switched on its full aggregation platform in both states under the RLX Gaming brand, with ReelPlay as the first partner studio and more states planned.
Two entities hold current UKGC licenses: Relax Gaming Limited (account 37462), licensed for remote casino since November 2014 and gambling software since March 2015, and Relax Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited (account 57758), licensed since March 2021.

Licensing tier: Tier-1 European coverage held across three entities, with Ontario, Peru and a young two-state US footprint alongside.
US aggregation went live on June 10, 2026 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with more states planned. Ontario has been live since 2022, and entry into Brazil and Peru was announced in February 2025.
Restricted-territory terms are set in the operator contract.
Casino content
Most of any catalog is the same aggregated shelf every competitor can license. What separates providers is whether any of it is their own work, and whose studios are behind it.
From content only, to an operator-configurable platform engine, to a cross-operator network.
Integrations & engineering
One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.
One integration reaches the whole catalog: Relax's own titles, Powered By and Silver Bullet studio content, the Aviatrix crash game, Dream Drop jackpots and Relax Rush promotions. The wallet model is seamless: the operator holds funds while Relax debits and credits in real time. Apex is the engineering argument: one common front-end and compliance overlay across all content, so per-market verification happens once instead of 2,000+ times game by game. Technical documentation is private and shared after commercial contact.
Products & tools
Everything Relax sells reduces to an own studio, two partner programs and one jackpot network, wired together by the Apex aggregation layer.
Relax Apex Aggregation
The aggregation core: a single API into about 4,000 games from Relax's own studio and 70+ partner studios, with the Apex layer running compliance and QA once per market instead of once per game.
- 4,000+ games through one integration
- 70+ partner studios across two partner programs
- One common front-end layer over all content
- Cuts 2,000+ game-by-game verification procedures to one per market
- Per-market compliance overlay
- Promo tools reach the entire partner portfolio

Own-Studio Games
Relax's in-house studio, building since around 2018: 100+ titles led by the Money Train franchise, Temple Tumble and Bill & Coin, using Megaways, Infinity Reels and cluster mechanics.
- 100+ proprietary titles
- Money Train 1-4 plus Money Train Origins Dream Drop
- Temple Tumble, Bill & Coin, The Great Pigsby, Epic Joker
- Megaways, Infinity Reels and cluster mechanics
- Money Train series: 3B+ game rounds and 10+ awards since 2019
- Money Train 4 caps the line at a 150,000x max win
- First titles live in the US with BetMGM

Dream Drop Jackpots
A progressive jackpot network running across operators since May 2022, with roughly EUR 280M paid out by February 2026 and 30 Mega winners. Relax covers all reseed fees.
- Six progressive jackpot tiers from the Daily up to the Mega
- Mega pots seed at EUR 1.5M to 2M
- Daily jackpot must drop three times a day
- Minimum 75% reseed, funded by Relax
- Wins at Paf, bet365 and other operators
- Record single win of about EUR 2.98M
- 30 Mega winners across 50+ Dream Drop titles
- Titles come from six studios, including Four Leaf Gaming's Temple Rush
- Base-game jackpot triggers debuted in Cod of Thunder
Relax Vantage
The self-service business portal launched in August 2024: operators browse the catalog with market-relevant configurations, pull financial reports across markets, file compliance requests and manage contracts and term sheets in one dashboard.
- Game browser with market-relevant configurations
- Analytical reports on financial results across all markets
- Legal and compliance requests handled in-dashboard
- Contracts and term sheets in one place
- Studios present portfolios and track performance stats
- Rolled out across all jurisdictions after beta testing
Platform & capabilities
Everything the product does out of the box. If a feature isn't listed, the vendor either doesn't offer it or doesn't say.
Crypto maturity
Operators check this capability first, and depth varies enough between vendors to grade it.
The history
Longevity in this industry usually comes with a change of owner somewhere in it.
Founded in Helsinki in March 2010 by Patrik Österåker and Jani Tekoniemi as a technical supplier, building Unibet's poker platform in 2014 and a bingo product in 2015 before its own slots broke out around 2018 with Temple Tumble. Kindred Group, an investor since 2013, bought the company outright on October 1, 2021 at an enterprise value of about EUR 320M. FDJ then acquired Kindred for EUR 2.45bn in October 2024 and renamed the group FDJ United in March 2025, which is where Relax sits today, headquartered in Sliema, Malta.

Longevity and ownership
Switching vendors is expensive, which makes the company's staying power part of the purchase. What the contract says about your data decides how expensive an exit gets.
Relax Gaming vs alternatives
Most buyers in this market shortlist three or four vendors long before they take a single sales call.

Pricing & terms
Relax Gaming quotes pricing per deal. Below is how the model and the terms are structured.
Standard aggregator revenue share on game GGR, negotiated per deal. On the studio side, Powered By partners keep commercial independence and set their own operator terms, while Silver Bullet studios get Relax's commercial representation plus compliance and legal support. Dream Drop reseed fees are covered by Relax, so operators run the network jackpot at no reseed cost.
The aggregation deal
Integration path
- 1Contact the commercial team through the site form
- 2Negotiate the revenue-share contract, including which markets your licenses unlock and the restricted-territories terms
- 3Run the single API integration against the Apex layer, with a seamless wallet on your side of the connection
- 4Clear per-market compliance once through Apex instead of certifying game by game
- 5Pick your catalog from Relax's own titles and the Powered By and Silver Bullet studios
- 6Opt into Dream Drop (Relax covers the reseed fees) and Relax Rush campaigns, then go live
Support & account management
You can't demo service before you sign, so what a vendor puts in writing is the only floor you can hold it to.
