Fusion (Pariplay) Review

7.7/10

The Fusion aggregation platform, sold by Aristocrat Interactive since the Pariplay brand was retired after the April 2024 acquisition: one API into 14,000+ games from 150+ studios, licensed from Gibraltar and Malta to five US states. The licenses still sit with the legacy Pariplay entities.

Our take

Fusion carries Gibraltar, Malta and UK licenses on the legacy Pariplay entities, plus supplier licenses in five US iGaming states, with Golden Nugget and PlayStar live on it. The library runs to 14,000+ games from 150+ studios, and the tournament and prize tools work across every aggregated vendor. Ownership has changed three times since 2019, settling with ASX-listed Aristocrat in April 2024. What a buyer gets is a tier-1 and US-licensed supply footprint with first-party Aristocrat content on top. Pricing and integration detail are shared after commercial contact.

Our read

Strengths
  • Gibraltar RGL 093, Malta MGA/B2B/469/2018, UKGC account 41665 and supplier licenses in NJ, MI, PA, WV and CT.
  • Golden Nugget has been live on Fusion across three states since early 2022, and PlayStar launched in New Jersey on it the same year.
  • 14,000+ games from 150+ studios through one contract, with 300-450 new titles added monthly and the GRT layer enabling same-day multi-market launches.
  • Engagement tools that run across every aggregated vendor: tournaments for up to 30,000 concurrent players, a prize wheel and raffles.
  • An ASX-listed parent (Aristocrat Leisure, A$6.3bn FY2025 revenue) and a regulated-only posture.
Watch-outs
  • Pricing is quoted per deal.
  • No public API docs or sandbox, with integration materials behind the gated partner Client Area.
  • Regulated markets only: crypto and grey-market operators have no route in.
  • The brand sells as Aristocrat Interactive while the licenses and contracts sit with the legacy Pariplay entities, an extra entity-mapping step at contract time.
Best for

Operators in the US states, the UK and regulated Europe or LatAm that want one heavily licensed content pipe with engagement tools included, and buyers who value an ASX-listed parent's compliance posture over challenger pricing.

Not for

Crypto and grey-market operators are out entirely, as are buyers who want API docs, a sandbox or pricing before they talk to sales.

Where you can run it

Markets & licensing

The licenses behind Fusion stay with the legacy Pariplay legal entities, not with an Aristocrat company: Gibraltar, Malta and the UK in Europe, plus supplier licenses in five US iGaming states. That entity detail matters for contracts even though the brand now sells as Aristocrat Interactive.

United States
Licensed

Supplier-licensed and live in five US iGaming states: New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Connecticut. The sequence ran West Virginia, Michigan (provisional, 2021-22), Pennsylvania and Connecticut, with New Jersey DGE approval behind the PlayStar launch. Golden Nugget Online Gaming has run Fusion across New Jersey, West Virginia and Michigan since Q1 2022.

United Kingdom
UKGC licensed

GMS Entertainment Limited, the historical Pariplay holding vehicle, carries UKGC account 41665 with two active remote licenses: Gambling Software since October 2017 and Game Host (Casino) since April 2018. Vickers.Bet signed a UK content deal in August 2024.

How it connects

Integrations & engineering

One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.

One unified API

One API and one commercial contract open the full catalog. The distinguishing piece is GRT, the Game Regulation Technology layer that builds compliance out per market so a certified game can launch across multiple regulated jurisdictions the same day. Engagement tools run at the aggregation layer and work across every third-party vendor out of the box. Fusion is also reachable from third-party PAMs such as Pragmatic Solutions.

Inside Fusion

Fusion is the umbrella: the aggregation API, the engagement tools and the GRT regulation layer, with Wizard Games and Ignite as the two content engines inside it, one an in-house studio, the other a program that turns outside studios into Fusion suppliers.

The history

Longevity in this industry usually comes with a change of owner somewhere in it.

Pariplay was founded in 2010 as an aggregator and content provider. Aspire Global bought it for EUR 13.3m in October 2019, NeoGames inherited it by completing the Aspire Global takeover in June 2022, and Aristocrat Leisure completed its US$1.2bn acquisition of NeoGames in April 2024. Since June 2024 the business has operated as the Content & Aggregation unit of Aristocrat Interactive, and the Pariplay brand was formally retired, though the licenses remain on the legacy Pariplay entities.
