Sportingtech Review

6.5/10

Malta-registered turnkey supplier of a six-module sportsbook and casino stack (MGA/B2B/718/2019), sold whole or as an iFrame sportsbook into an operator's existing front end, with clients in Brazil, Kenya, and South Africa.

Our take

The operator brings the license and Sportingtech brings the supplier-side certification, with no white-label cover in between, so a launch turns on both lining up market by market. That certification runs Latin American: Brazil under SPA rules in December 2024 with Oleybet live on September 3, 2025 and a São Paulo office by that October, then Peru's MINCETUR in May 2026, all on one MGA B2B license held since August 2020, and nothing in the US, UK, or Canada. What comes with the contract is staff: Go Live, Trading, and Market Activation teams took the 2022 African launches live in two months and spent four weeks on site in Kenya. Ownership is undisclosed.

Our read

Strengths
  • MGA B2B license since August 2020, GLI certification for Brazil's SPA regime (December 20, 2024), Peru MINCETUR certification (May 14, 2026), GLI-19 and GLI-33, and ISO 27001 via MSECB (2025).
  • Clients across Africa and Brazil: 888Africa, Sun International's SunBet, Oleybet in regulated Brazil, and JUICEBET in Kenya.
  • African go-lives in two months (2022), a four-week on-site Market Activation deployment in Kenya (2025), and Go Live and Trading teams sold with the platform.
  • 100+ sports and 1,300+ betting markets, Bet Assist automated tips, Fastbet, and a World Cup 2026 widget suite.
Watch-outs
  • No owner, founder, or investor is disclosed.
  • Scale is given as volume, not as a client count: 10 billion bets a month.
  • The odds and data supply behind the book is not disclosed.
  • No US, UK, or Canada presence of any kind, which caps the platform for operators with tier-1 Western ambitions.
Best for

Operators launching into Brazil, Peru, or African markets that want the vendor's staff inside the launch (go-live, trading, and on-site activation teams) behind a full sportsbook and casino turnkey, plus .com brands stepping into newly regulated territory.

Not for

US, UK, or Ontario-bound operators, buyers who require a disclosed odds and data supply chain, buyers whose diligence needs a disclosed owner, and license-umbrella seekers, because no white label exists.

Markets & licensing

Regulated market entry here runs on certifications rather than on additional licenses. The Malta MGA B2B license carries the supply and a Curacao license keeps the .com book open, while both regulated markets opened since came through approvals: Brazil under SPA-aligned GLI certification, then Peru under MINCETUR.

United States
No US licensing

There is no US presence: no state supplier licenses and no tribal-market work. The regulated certifications sit in Brazil and Peru, and the launches in Africa.

United Kingdom
No GB licensing

Sportingtech does not supply Britain. Its customers are in Brazil, Kenya, and South Africa, alongside .com brands.

How it connects

Integrations & engineering

One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.

One unified API

Two routes onto one stack. Full turnkey puts the sportsbook, casino, back office, data, compliance, and infrastructure modules on Sportingtech's side, while the iFrame mode (sold since ICE 2023) drops the book into the front end an operator already runs, through a single integration. Around both sits the staffed layer: an Account Manager, a Go Live Team, the Trading Team behind the odds, and a Market Activation Team that has run launches on site.

Time to integrate

Two months for the 2022 Africa launches, four weeks of on-site activation for Kenya's JUICEBET in 2025, and a six-to-eight-week Quick Quantum delivery marketed at the 2021 platform launch.

The history

Longevity in this industry usually comes with a change of owner somewhere in it.

Sportingtech started in 2010, and Malta-registered Sportingtech Limited carries the business today. The Pulse platform was re-engineered and relaunched as Quantum in July 2021, the Quantum name was later retired, and a Winning Edge identity arrived in January 2026. Leadership turned over in that window: Quantum-era CEO Ivo Doroteia left and now runs Playbook Engineering, managing director Bobby Longhurst departed in 2023 and later became EveryMatrix's CCO, and Tom Ustunel, ex-GAN, took the CEO seat in January 2024.
