How Much Do Girls Spend in Affiliate Marketing? Aff M1 Talks about a Failed Date and Life in Georgia

Hello to all my affiliate friends! I want to introduce myself, share a bit, and even show you a glimpse of my life. I think you'll find it interesting!

My name is Irina, and I work at M1. I develop and attract advertisers. I love the project and adore what I do. I've been in affiliate marketing for about 3 years. In this relatively short time, I've seen a lot: from startups launching into space to fixing smeared makeup for escorts in bathrooms. So, after 3 years, I finally decided to step into the spotlight and start telling my story and the story of M1. Get ready for the ride :)

Today, I'll talk about how my work (and not so much) week is structured. All coincidences are accidental, and the characters are fictional.

Where It All Begins

Every day, no matter where I wake up (I move quite often, changing cities and countries), starts with a workout. I do all functional workouts at home. I only go to the gym for stretching and massages. I'm the kind of person who hates having breakfast. The exception is a hangover.

Monday:

7:30 to 9:00 a.m.: Wake up, morning routines, and workouts.

9:00-9:30 a.m.: Start working — check chats, task statuses, and integrations.

12:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: Around lunchtime, work calls usually begin, which can last until evening. So, I choose quiet cafes near home for "breakfast" and calls.

Breakfast/lunch cost: 50 lari. (Reminder: we are currently in Batumi, Georgia.)

3:00-6:00 p.m.: Post-meetings, set tasks for the week, and other routine tasks.

6:30 p.m.: Go to my favorite stretching session. Found an amazing studio with great equipment.

Workout cost: 60 lari.

7:30 p.m.: Found out one of my advertisers is also in Batumi! We've never met offline, so we decided to meet at a hookah lounge on the promenade. Everything went well. Discussed current matters and decided to launch a couple of offers in Kazakhstan with top conditions. Stay tuned for updates on our social media.

Total spent: 150 lari.

11:00 p.m-12:00 p.m.: Bedtime.

Tuesday:

7:30 to 12:00 a.m.: Every weekday morning starts exactly like Monday. I won't repeat it, okay? Blink if yes.

12:00 a.m.: Work call with the team. Share news from the past week and plans for the future.

1:00 p.m.: Head to a massage session, -110 lari.

2:30 p.m.: Choose a quieter restaurant to work and eat, -54 lari.

7:00 p.m.: Met with friends. Found a nice bar with a sea view and decided to hang out there. No cost for me. The table wasn't booked by me.

12:00 p.m.: Back home. Good night to everyone.

Wednesday:

Skipping the morning routine. You know it.

12:00 a.m.: Organized a work shoot. Need to pick a couple of outfits for the video. Head to the nearest shopping center. According to the reference, we need torn jeans and something very bright — things I would never wear in real life. Confidently head to mass-market stores like Zara, Bershka, and the like.

2:00 p.m.: Outfit selected. Total: -740 lari. M1, get ready to spend!

2:30 p.m.: As usual, go to a quiet restaurant nearby to check work tasks and eat -45 lari.

4:00-6:00 p.m.: Found a team for the shoot, discussed the location, and booked equipment. The company pays. Hello M1!

7:00-8:00 p.m.: Go for a stretching workout, -60 lari.

9:00-12:00 p.m.: Head home, chat with parents on FaceTime and go to bed early. Yes, I'm my mom's friend's daughter, but wait for the weekend ;)

Thursday:

A Day of Filming

9:00-12:00 a.m.: An atypical morning due to the upcoming shoot. Sorted out all work tasks to avoid distractions later.

1:00 p.m.: Arrived at the studio for makeup, -150 lari. Greetings to M1!

2:30-9:00 p.m.: Creating beauty. Let the cost remain a mystery; I'll share materials on my work Insta later 🔥.

11:00 p.m.: Crawled back home.

Friday:

The morning started at 5 o'clock. Today, we're heading to Tbilisi, and to make good use of time decided to take a local train before the workday begins — the cost was 75 lari.

6:00-11:00 a.m.: Excellent internet from Batumi to Tbilisi. Working and enjoying the views outside.

11:30 a.m.: Grab a taxi. Apps work well here. No issues — cost 15 lari. Yes, taxis are unbelievably cheap here, even for business class.

12:00 a.m.: I checked into the hotel for the weekend and started looking for long-term accommodation since I plan to stay in Tbilisi until mid-December. Cost: 400 for two nights.

1:00-5:00 p.m.: Attend work calls and have lunch at the hotel restaurant, -120 lari.

5:00-8:00 p.m.: Since tasks for the week piled up, organize everything and head into the weekend with peace of mind.

9:00-10:30 p.m.: The hotel has an excellent spa, so I went swimming and to the sauna.

11:00 p.m.: Tired, so good night to everyone.

Saturday:

9:00 a.m.: Decided to go to the hotel gym. I checked it out, worked out.

12:00 a.m.: Went for a stroll; there's currently a Banksy exhibition in Tbilisi. I have loved him since school, so I went gladly — the cost was 40 lari.

2:00 p.m.: Lunchtime. Found a restaurant overlooking the old town. Finally, KHACHAPURI AND WINE!!!! This deliciousness cost me 75 lari.

4:00 p.m.: Strolled through the streets of the old town.

5:00 p.m.: Here I remember that Georgia is not Russia. Tinder works great here. Besides, I don't know Tbilisi well, so the goal was to find someone who could show me good places. Swipe one, swipe two, swipe three. Success! 1 km away. Going to drink wine and listen to Georgian stories.

7:00 p.m.: I arrive for the meeting. Of course, I'm late. I see my evening companion, but not alone. With a whole FAMILY, a real Georgian feast, about 20 people. Brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles. In any other situation, I would have run away, but my companion wanted to escape from family gatherings, so he invited me to hang out. The family turned out to be so lively and hospitable that the guy left to hang out alone, and I stayed. We drank together and became friends so much that the next day, I was already at their place for a barbecue. That's how a Georgian Tinder match goes.

01:00 a.m: The week ends perfectly, and I wish the same for you, dear readers.

Conclusion

I won't tell you about my Sunday, perhaps we're not that close yet. For now ;)

The total for the week came out to 1254 lari. That's approximately $470.
