GiG Review

7.7/10

Pure-play B2B iGaming tech for regulated markets: the CoreX PAM, an in-house SportX sportsbook (from the Sportnco acquisition), US sweepstakes, and an AI layer. This is the platform half of the old Gaming Innovation Group after the 2024 split.

Our take

GiG Software is the platform half of the old Gaming Innovation Group, spun out in the 2024 split: a clean B2B PAM (CoreX), an in-house sportsbook (SportX), and US sweepstakes. It is strong on licensing, smaller and more fiat-focused than the SOFTSWISS-scale players, and there is no crypto to speak of.

Our read

Strengths
  • Pure B2B after the 2024 split: no operator brands, so no channel conflict with its own clients.
  • Deep regulated-market coverage: certified across 31+ regulated markets and live in the UK, Sweden, Spain, US (New Jersey), Ontario, Alberta, and the Philippines.
  • In-house SportX sportsbook, built on the 2022 Sportnco acquisition.
  • Modern stack: actor-framework microservices, an AI layer (DataX, LogicX, GiG Assistant), and a no-code, policy-based compliance design.
  • SweepX gives a working route into the US sweepstakes and social-casino market.
Watch-outs
  • A small company after the split: about 350 staff and €37.6M FY2025 revenue.
  • Not crypto-native. There's no built-in crypto cashier. Crypto runs only through a third-party PSP where the license allows.
  • PAM-first and turnkey-paced. Launches run 12 to 14 weeks.
  • The toolset leans on partners in places: no proprietary CRM (retention runs through third parties like Fast Track), no in-house casino content, and jackpots come with the aggregated games.
  • No white-label product line. GiG sells turnkey and modular delivery, and the operator holds the license.
Best for

Operators targeting hard-regulated markets (UK, Sweden, Spain, US (New Jersey), Ontario, Alberta, and the Philippines) who want a flexible PAM with an in-house sportsbook and a managed-operations option, from a pure B2B vendor with no operator brands of its own.

Not for

Small startups chasing the cheapest and fastest launch, crypto-native casinos, or anyone who wants the biggest game library or a one-box monolith out of the gate.

Where you can run it

Markets & licensing

GiG Software is the platform half of the old Gaming Innovation Group, spun out as a standalone, publicly listed B2B company in the 2024 split. It runs as a pure-play technology supplier, so operators launch on their own licenses while GiG's certified platform covers the regulated jurisdictions. The platform is licensed or certified across 31+ regulated markets.

United States
Licensed

GiG's platform is certified in New Jersey through its US subsidiary iGamingCloud Inc, and it has a track record powering US operators such as Hard Rock and PlayStar. SweepX adds a route into US sweepstakes and social casino where that model is allowed, and in Canada the platform runs live in Ontario and Alberta.

United Kingdom
UKGC licensed

GiG holds active UK Gambling Commission licenses through its subsidiary iGamingCloud Limited (account 44073): a remote gambling software license live since 2016 and a remote betting host license live since 2018. In 2025 GiG launched ITV Win, the real-money brand of the UK's largest commercial broadcaster.

Turnkey Platform — product render

This is the standard GiG route for a regulated operator. You take the CoreX platform on your own license and run the business, with casino aggregation, the SportX sportsbook, payments, CRM, and compliance all wired into one modular stack. Integrations are open, configuration is no-code, and the policy-based design adapts to each jurisdiction's rules.

Launches run roughly 12 to 14 weeks, pricing is a setup fee plus revenue share or a managed fee quoted per deal, and you bring your own license. What you get for that is a platform designed around hard-regulated markets, from a vendor that does not run competing casino brands of its own.

How it connects

Integrations & engineering

One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.

One unified API

CoreX is integration-first. One REST API into the PAM, then open, unlimited third-party connections for casino content, payments, KYC, CRM, affiliates, and gamification. There is no closed in-house catalog. The SportX sportsbook is built in, so the book shares the same platform and wallet. GiG runs around 25 new integrations a year.

The history

Longevity in this industry usually comes with a change of owner somewhere in it.

GiG traces back to 2008. In September 2024 the group split: the media and affiliate business became Gentoo Media Inc., and the platform business spun out as standalone GiG Software plc, listed on Nasdaq First North Premier in Stockholm from October 1, 2024.
