Income Access Review

6.4/10

The default affiliate platform of US-regulated gaming: FanDuel, Hard Rock Bet, and Caesars run live programs on its panels, Michigan Lottery, Virginia Lottery, and OLG run lottery programs on the same platform, and the 24-year-old Paysafe unit sells software, network, managed services, and agency under one brand, all of it priced by quote behind a sales demo.

Our take

One brand sells the software, an affiliate network, fully managed program services, and an in-house agency. All four lines price by quote, and there are no public docs and no sandbox to work with before the sales call.

Our read

Strengths
  • Michigan Lottery, Virginia Lottery, and Ontario's OLG.ca run their affiliate programs on the platform.
  • One contract path covers the software, the Income Access Network marketplace, managed program services with a dedicated affiliate manager, and an in-house digital marketing agency.
  • An exclusive Rightlander Intel integration screens affiliate and social sources for regulatory compliance, a real asset for programs under US state and UKGC marketing rules.
  • 24 years in market under a NYSE-listed parent.
Watch-outs
  • Nothing is evaluable before sales contact, and all four product lines price by quote, so engineering and finance both wait on a sales process.
  • Affiliate program panels run a classic-ASP front-end.
  • Betfred's UK program moved to RavenTrack, Supabets to Scaleo, and 247 Partners is mid-migration to ReferOn.
Best for

Operators entering or scaling in US-regulated states and lotteries who want the platform their tier-1 peers already run programs on, with the option to hand recruitment, account management, and affiliate payouts to the vendor's managed team.

Not for

Teams that need to evaluate an API surface, a sandbox, or a price before booking a sales call.

Where you can run it

Markets & licensing

Income Access runs the affiliate programs of the biggest names in US-regulated gaming. FanDuel's program sits at affiliates.fanduel.com and Hard Rock Bet's at hardrockaffiliates.com, both on Income Access panels, and Caesars routes caesarsaffiliates.com to affiliates.williamhill.us. The lottery side runs the same way: Michigan Lottery launched the first US state-run online lottery affiliate program in 2018 and takes registrations at affiliates.michiganlottery.com, Virginia Lottery added its program in February 2021 and runs signup at affiliates.valottery.com, and the OLG.ca program is the first affiliate program for a Canadian provincial lottery. Tipico US launched on the platform in September 2020 and its program is now suspended. Around the US lane runs a wide book of UK and EU sportsbooks, PokerStars, and LatAm entries.

United States
The franchise market

This is where Income Access is the default choice rather than a contender. In June 2022 Paysafe supported 75% of operators across 21 US jurisdictions with payments or marketing, and the affiliate platform is the marketing half of that footprint. An operator entering a regulated state is choosing the platform its tier-1 competitors already run programs on.

United Kingdom
Tier-2 sportsbook presence, one departure

Ladbrokes, BetVictor, Virgin Bet, LiveScore Bet, 10Bet, Midnite, and The Pools make a solid UK book without the tier-1 lock the US lane has. Betfred's UK program now runs on RavenTrack while its US program stays on Income Access, two programs on two platforms under one brand. UK buyers get the same Rightlander compliance screening angle that matters under UKGC marketing rules.

How it connects

Integrations & engineering

One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.

One unified API

Programs run as Income Access panels on operator subdomains, with postbacks and API reporting wired during a vendor-led integration phase inside the three-step demo, integration, evolution onboarding. Mapping your PAM and data stack onto the platform happens inside the sales process, and the managed and network layers can take over program operations after launch.

Time to integrate

The vendor sizes the integration phase and gives buyers a timeline inside the sales process.

The history

Longevity in this industry usually comes with a change of owner somewhere in it.

Founded in Montreal in 2002, Income Access is the oldest brand in the category and grew from a tracking platform into a four-line business spanning software, an affiliate network, managed program services, and an in-house agency. Paysafe subsidiaries bought the business from EcomAccess, IA Digital Marketing, and their shareholders in September 2016 for CAD $40M, CAD $28M in cash at completion and CAD $12M deferred over 18 months, taking software and IP from Share Results in the same transaction. The platform carried 25,000+ affiliates at acquisition and earned roughly CAD $3.3M in profit before tax in FY 2016. Inside Paysafe it runs as a business unit under VPs in the digital-wallets leg with no CEO title of its own, and founder Nicky Senyard left after the deal to start Fintel Connect.
