St8 Review

7.3/10

A zero-legacy casino content aggregator built from 2022 by the former head of Hub88. One ECDSA-signed REST API carries 19,000+ games from 200+ studios into the UK, Ontario, Sweden and four more licensed jurisdictions.

Our take

St8 is the aggregator you shortlist for the engineering. Founder Vladimir Negine ran Hub88 before coding a rival from scratch in 2022, and the result shows in the tooling: fully public API docs, ECDSA-signed requests, both wallet models, a cross-provider Bonus API, a jackpot aggregator that takes custom operator campaigns, and a self-serve testing tool called TARS. The license stack went from a Romanian Class II in 2023 to UKGC, AGCO and SGA by early 2026. What you give up is history: roughly 25 to 50 people, eight named client brands, no published technical certifications and zero financial disclosure.

Our read

7.3/10
GoodReviewed by Partnerkin ResearchJuly 2026
Content library7.5

19,000+ games from 200+ studios covers the marquee names, and the library grew from 16,000+ within about a year. No in-house or exclusive content, so the catalog itself is not a differentiator.

Integration & API9.0

The best public tooling in the category: full docs at docs.st8api.com, ECDSA-signed requests, both wallet models, a cross-provider Bonus API, a jackpot aggregator and the TARS self-serve testing tool. Game round replays via API landed in July 2026.

Compliance & licensing7.5

Seven jurisdictions in under three years, including UKGC, AGCO and SGA, all with clean records. The MGA entry is only a Recognition Notice, and no GLI or ISO certificates are published.

Trust & track record6.0

Nothing negative on the record, but the company is five years old with roughly 25 to 50 staff, eight named client brands and regulated launches that only began in late 2025.

Commercials & transparency5.0

A GGR revenue share with promo costs netted off invoices is all that is public. No rates, no minimums, and zero financial disclosure from a bootstrapped private company.

Tools & support7.5

Cross-provider bonusing, custom jackpot campaigns, 1,000+ report variations and a claimed 24/7 team access model. The support claims carry no published SLA or uptime numbers behind them.

Methodology. Our own score, a weighted average of six dimensions, tilted toward content library and compliance. St8 was founded in 2021 by the former head of Hub88 and coded from scratch starting in 2022, so there is no legacy stack and not much history either. We graded the file as what it is: a bet on engineering over track record. Scores draw on the public API docs, license registers and dated trade press rather than vendor claims alone. Read the full methodology

Strengths
  • The category's best public integration tooling: full REST docs at docs.st8api.com, ECDSA request signing, seamless and transfer wallets, and TARS for self-serve API testing inside the operator's CI pipeline.
  • Seven licenses in under three years, including UKGC (July 2025, clean record), Ontario AGCO (October 2025) and Sweden SGA (February 2026).
  • 19,000+ games from 200+ studios as of July 2026, up from 16,000+ a year earlier, with Games Global, Playson, Relax Gaming, Wazdan and Octoplay among the dated deals.
  • Bonus API and jackpot aggregator work cross-provider: free spins, cash and bonus-buy offers from one endpoint set, plus custom operator jackpots running alongside supplier network pots.
  • Zero-legacy platform coded from 2022 with a public changelog, and a vendor-claimed 7 billion+ transactions processed monthly.
Watch-outs
  • A team of roughly 25 to 50 people carries compliance across seven jurisdictions, which is thin cover if several regulators ask questions at once.
  • Bootstrapped and private with zero financial disclosure, so there is no way to gauge the health of the business behind your content feed.
  • No GLI, ISO 27001 or other technical certifications are published anywhere.
  • The Anjouan license marks a deliberate grey-market track alongside the tier-1 stack, something regulated operators may have to explain to their own compliance teams.
  • No US license of any kind, and crypto support is simply not published: the API docs list fiat ISO 4217 currencies only.
Best for

European and Ontario operators that want one modern content API with regulated coverage behind it, and engineering-led teams that would rather read public docs and run TARS in their own CI than sit through a vendor-managed integration.

Not for

US operators, since there is no US license of any kind. Also a hard sell for risk-averse enterprise buyers who need audited financials, GLI or ISO certificates, and a decade of reference clients before signing a content deal.

Markets & licensing

St8 built a seven-jurisdiction license stack in under three years, anchored by a UKGC software license granted in July 2025 and AGCO registration in Ontario. There is no US pathway, and the Malta entry is a Recognition Notice rather than a full MGA license.

United States
No US license

St8 holds no US state license of any kind and does not serve US-regulated operators. Ontario, where it registered with AGCO in October 2025 and went live with Tonybet in February 2026, is its only North American market. No US entry plans have been published.

United Kingdom
UKGC licensed

Holds a UKGC remote gambling software license granted 25 July 2025 under St8 Technologies Limited, account 67166, license 067166-R-340918-001, with a clean record on the register. LottoGo became the first UK brand live on the platform in November 2025, and a kwiff partnership followed in April 2026.

Also supports grey / unregulated markets beyond its regulated licenses.

How it connects

Integrations & engineering

One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.

Distinctive fieldSt8 publishes its whole integration surface, which made this section unusually easy to verify against primary sources.
One unified API

One REST integration over HTTPS with JSON payloads opens the full 19,000-game catalog. Requests are ECDSA-signed via the x-st8-sign header, with signature examples in Python, Erlang, PHP, Java, C# and Node.js. The operator chooses the wallet model: seamless, where the operator holds the balance and St8 calls back for check, balance, debit, credit, buyin, payout and cancel, or transfer, where St8 holds the balance and the operator moves funds in and out. The same connection carries the Bonus API, the jackpot aggregator, game metadata, the Thumbnails CDN, the Checksum API and game round replays. TARS lets the operator's engineers run St8's test suite inside their own CI before launch, against a public sandbox.

Time to integrate

Vendor claim: most operators are up and running within a few days, with a few days to a few weeks quoted depending on scope.

The take: The Hub88 comparison is personal: founder Vladimir Negine ran Hub88 before building St8 from scratch, so the two share DNA and compete for the same operators. Hub88 brings more years, a bigger client roster and Yolo Group behind it, while St8 answers with cleaner public tooling, TARS and a fast-moving tier-1 license list. Alea is the other lean, engineering-led aggregator in the same weight class. Against both, St8's soft spot is the same: five years of history, a small team and zero financial disclosure.

Commercials

Pricing & terms

St8 keeps its numbers off the record: pricing is quoted per deal, under NDA. Below is what's public about the model and terms.

Revenue share of GGR, with bonus and promotion costs deducted from operator invoices

Standard aggregator economics: a GGR revenue share with promo spend netted off invoices. There is no published rate card, and trade press has surfaced no pricing intel as of July 2026. As a bootstrapped challenger chasing regulated-market share, terms are presumably negotiable, but that is inference.

Questions

Frequently asked

The things operators actually ask before signing.

Who owns St8?+

Founder and CEO Vladimir Negine, a former Deutsche Bank business analyst who previously ran Hub88, Yolo Group's aggregator. The company is private and bootstrapped, with no funding rounds or outside investors on record. Shareholding beyond the founder is not published.

Is St8 licensed for the UK?+

Yes. St8 Technologies Limited holds a UKGC remote gambling software license granted on 25 July 2025, account 67166, license number 067166-R-340918-001, with a clean record on the register. LottoGo became its first live UK brand in November 2025, and kwiff signed in April 2026.

Which regulated markets does St8 cover beyond the UK?+

Ontario as an AGCO-registered supplier since October 2025, live there with Tonybet since February 2026. Sweden under SGA license 26Si120 since February 2026, Romania under an ONJN Class II license since September 2023, and the Isle of Man under a GSC software license since September 2024. In Malta it holds an MGA Recognition Notice from June 2024, which permits supply to MGA-licensed operators but is weaker than a full license. An Anjouan license from September 2024 covers grey and emerging markets.

Does St8 operate in the US?+

No. It holds no US state license of any kind and does not supply US-regulated operators. Ontario is its only North American market, and no US entry plans have been published.

What does St8 cost, and what do we know about its finances?+

Pricing is on request. The model is a revenue share of GGR, with bonus and promotion costs deducted from operator invoices automatically, and no rates, minimums or setup fees are published. The opacity extends to the company itself: St8 is bootstrapped and publishes no revenue figures, no accounts and no funding history, so there are no financials to check before you sign.

How hard is the integration?+

This is St8's strongest suit. The docs are fully public at docs.st8api.com, requests are ECDSA-signed, you choose a seamless or transfer wallet, and TARS lets your engineers run the API test suite in your own CI before launch. St8 claims most operators are live within a few days, a few weeks for larger scopes, and LottoGo's CEO publicly described the integration as fast.

How does content filtering work across St8's markets?+

Every game record in the API carries restricted_territories and prohibited_territories arrays plus jurisdiction data, so your platform decides which titles appear where. St8 does not enforce geo-blocking for you. For markets that require game-file verification, the Regulatory API serves checksums of the critical files used in each game.

What does St8's support actually consist of?+

The pitch is no tickets: real-time help through whatever channel the client prefers, with 24/7 team access claimed in trade press. In practice, sales@st8.io and a contact form are the only published channels, and no response SLA or uptime guarantee is published. LottoGo's CEO publicly credited the hands-on integration support.

Does St8 support crypto?+

Nothing is published. The API docs accept any ISO 4217 fiat currency code and list no cryptocurrencies, and there is no crypto product page. The Anjouan license and some crypto-leaning client brands suggest crypto-adjacent operators handle conversion at their own wallet layer, but St8 itself says nothing on the subject.
