BridgerPay Review
6.3/10Retry-first payment orchestration from Limassol: one checkout over your own PSP contracts, with the paperwork on request.
Our read
The checkout, no-code Router, and public connections directory are real strengths, and then the developer docs are password-protected with no public sandbox.
The 1,000+ figure pools methods and providers, the gaming side counts hundreds of PSPs, and there is no acquiring, cash network, or consumer wallet of its own.
Seven years of operation with named references concentrated outside gambling, and no gambling case studies.
The Settlement Calendar (2025) and direct Shva membership (Dec 2025) are real differentiators for a layer that never holds funds.
No pricing page exists at all, and the free connections directory is the single transparency bright spot.
PCI Level 1 with the certificate on request, SOC 2 and DORA with the reports unpublished, and all KYC and AML sitting with the merchant.
Methodology. Our own score, a weighted average of six dimensions, tilted toward integration and coverage. Scored on the orchestration weighting, which puts integration and the cashier first at 0.26 and spreads the remainder across coverage, trust, settlement, commercials, and compliance, so gated docs and unverifiable attestations cost BridgerPay more here than a raw feature count would suggest. Read the full methodology
- Bridger Retry has real engineering substance: one 3DS2 session persists across retried PSPs, wallet and recurring transactions retry too, and retry paths became A/B-testable (expanded Feb 2026).
- The connections directory is public and free to browse with no account, rare in a segment where PaymentIQ gates its equivalent.
- Fast, dated product cadence: BridgerFraud (Nov 2025), Settlement Calendar (2025), network tokenization live with Visa (2025), Data Tank, and the Kanji AI assistant (May 2026).
- Direct membership in Shva, Israel's central payment switch (Dec 2025), a depth of local rails no orchestration peer offers.
- Gambling-side deals do exist, and both are dated: the BtoBet platform agreement (Sep 2021) and Portuguese casino Bet7 (Jun 2025).
- Named enterprise references with executive quotes, though the strongest (Zalora, Etihad, Paybis, Luxury Escapes) are all outside gambling.
- KYC and AML sit entirely with the merchant: no compliance product, partner, or cover of any kind ships with the platform.
- Developer docs are password-protected, with no public sandbox and no pricing page, so nothing technical or commercial can be scoped before a demo.
- The attestation paperwork travels on request: neither the PCI Level 1 certificate nor the SOC 2 report is published.
- No gambling case studies: gaming clients are announced but never quantified.
Mid-market operators and mixed high-risk merchants (forex, crypto, travel, gaming) that already hold their own gambling licenses and PSP contracts and want retry, cascading, and one cashier layered over them, plus Israel-facing merchants who can use the Shva membership.
US-regulated iGaming, buyers whose procurement needs public docs, a sandbox, or pricing before a sales call, and operators that want any compliance cover from the payments layer itself.
Markets & licensing
BridgerPay holds no licenses because it structurally needs none: it is a routing and checkout layer that never touches funds. That makes attestations the whole compliance surface, and the paperwork there travels on request: PCI DSS Level 1 runs with annual audits and quarterly scans, with the certificate PDF, the SOC 2 report, and the DORA attestation all unpublished.
BridgerPay holds no US money-transmitter licenses and no state gaming vendor registrations, and none of its named references are US iGaming operators. A US-regulated operator has nothing to work with here, since no compliance footprint exists in North America. For offshore brands the calculus is the usual orchestration one: BridgerPay adds no licensing cover, so the burden was always yours.
There is no FCA authorization and none is required for a technology layer that never handles funds. A UKGC-licensed operator can run BridgerPay as cashier plumbing over its own PSP contracts, with every compliance obligation staying operator-side and the attestation paperwork (PCI certificate, SOC 2) arriving on request.
- No payment licensesGlobal
- Pure orchestration layer that never touches funds, so no EMI, PI, VASP, or MTL is required · Unregulated by design · Feb 2021
- PCI DSS Level 1Card data security
- Annual audit plus quarterly scans · Certificate PDF available on request
- SOC 2, DORA, GDPRInfosec attestations
- Held attestations with the reports unpublished · SOC 2 report not published · no ISO 27001
- Shva membership (Israel)Israel
- Direct membership in the country's central payment switch · Announced Dec 3, 2025 · a rails membership rather than a license
Licensing tier: A no-license tier by design. Holding no licenses is a legitimate model for orchestration, with the difference that segment peers publish their certificates while BridgerPay supplies the paperwork on request.
Not disclosed.
Not applicable in the licensing sense: BridgerPay supplies technology, so market access is a function of the operator's own licenses and PSP contracts. Reach spans 185 countries in its footer (Jul 2026).
No restricted-market list and no operator-acceptance policy are published.

Integrations & engineering
One contract and one API instead of a separate deal per studio, feed, or PSP. Here's what connects, how fast, and on what stack.
One REST API behind a hosted, embeddable checkout. Merchants keep their own PSP contracts and connect them through BridgerPay, which orchestrates routing, retries, fraud rules, and 3DS across those accounts while funds continue to flow directly between merchant and PSP. Configuration is no-code throughout: the Router builds rules by country, provider, cost, or payment type with multi-condition logic (Mar 2026), Retry paths are A/B-testable, and BridgerFraud uses a question-based builder. Payment links over email, SMS, and QR plus POS orchestration extend the same core, and a PSP Self-Integration Tool (2025) lets providers onboard themselves. The catch sits in front of all of it: developer docs are password-protected, there is no public sandbox, and sales runs through a demo.
Not published as a duration. The pitch is one API and integrate once, with sales running demo-led.
Products & tools
Everything hangs off the hosted checkout: Bridger Retry and the agnostic 3DS recover declines inside it, the Router decides where each transaction goes, and the 2025 platform wave wrapped fraud rules, settlement visibility, and a data layer around the same core.
Bridger Retry & Bridger 3DS
The flagship: soft card declines get rerouted to another PSP inside the same session, with a PSP-agnostic 3DS2 authentication that stays valid across retries so the customer never re-authenticates.
- Reroutes soft declines across connected PSPs in real time, covering recurring payments and failed Apple Pay and Google Pay transactions
- Bridger 3DS keeps one 3DS2 session alive across retried providers, with an approval uplift of up to 10% (Jul 2026)
- A/B testing of retry and routing paths, added in 2025 and documented in depth in Feb 2026
- Recovery runs to 30% of declines, or 8% of lost revenue
- Regional recurring-recovery table on /retry: Europe and LATAM 15%, Caribbean 11%, MENA 9%, North America 2.8%
Bridger Checkout & Router
A hosted, embeddable checkout in 30+ languages, fed by a drag-and-drop no-code Router that decides which of the merchant's own PSP accounts takes each transaction, with cascading fallback built in.
- Embeddable hosted checkout, 30+ languages (Jul 2026)
- No-code routing rules by country, provider, cost, or payment type, with multi-condition logic added Mar 2026
- Card-issuing-country routing rules added in 2025
- Payment links via email, SMS, and QR, plus POS orchestration for omnichannel setups
- Public connections directory, searchable for free with no account, claiming 1,000+ connectors
- White-label deployment available
BridgerFraud
The in-house fraud engine launched in November 2025: a no-code, question-based rule builder with IP, VPN, and geo detection, velocity checks, blocklists, and approve, review, or deny actions.
- Question-based rule builder aimed at ops people rather than analysts
- IP, VPN, and geolocation detection
- Velocity checks and blocklists
- Approve, review, or deny outcomes per rule
- Launched Nov 2025 as part of the platform wave
Settlement Calendar, Reconciliation & Data Tank
Settlement visibility across all connected PSPs: what settled yesterday, what settles tomorrow, and real net amounts after fees, next to automated multi-PSP reconciliation and unlimited historical data for BI.
- Settlement Calendar (2025): per-PSP settlement dates and net-after-fee amounts in one view
- Automated reconciliation across PSPs, with an 80% cut in reconciliation time
- Data Tank (2025): unlimited historical transaction data with BI integration
- Network tokenization live with Visa (2025) on top of the multilayer Bridger Safe vault
- Bridger Admin back office with Magic Search (Jan 2026) and the Kanji AI connections assistant (May 2026)
The history
Sales decks get rewritten for every deal. A dated record doesn't.
BridgerPay was founded in Limassol in 2019 by Ran Cohen and Yaron Hershcovich, two forex-industry veterans, operating as Bridger AI Ltd (Cyprus). It bootstrapped until a $6M seed announced in May 2022, led by ex-Catch.com CEO Nati Harpaz and SIBF, notable for including $2M in secondary sales at seed stage. The company stayed small, roughly 50-60 people from one listed office, while widening its reach to 185 countries, and in 2025 it rebuilt both the website and the platform: BridgerFraud, the Settlement Calendar, Visa network tokenization, and direct Shva membership all landed within months.

Longevity and ownership
Switching vendors is expensive, which makes the company's staying power part of the purchase. What the contract says about your data decides how expensive an exit gets.
BridgerPay vs alternatives
No two vendors describe themselves the same way, which makes their own claims hard to line up. Every name here answers the same fields, so you can see where this one sits against the closest alternatives.

The take: Praxis Tech is the closest twin, another Cyprus-and-Israel orchestrator with forex heritage, and it documents casino platform connectors BridgerPay lacks. PaymentIQ is the category definer with public docs, a sandbox, and a regulated-gambling install base, at the cost of a gated connector directory and a heavier enterprise process. Corefy competes on breadth with published connector counts. Pick BridgerPay for retry depth, the browsable directory, and Israel rails, and accept that everything else only surfaces in the demo.
Settlement & commercials
BridgerPay prices per deal, so exact figures land in the contract rather than on a public rate card.
A per-transaction or SaaS fee shape, fully undisclosed, with no setup, monthly, or minimum figures published.
Nothing is published: no pricing page, no contract-length or lock-in data, and no disclosed fee ranges. The one commercial bright spot is the free, no-login connections directory that lets a buyer scope PSP coverage before talking to sales. Everything else waits for the demo.

Onboarding path
- 1Book a demo, since sales is demo-led and the 2022 self-onboarding flow is gone
- 2Scope PSP coverage in the public connections directory before the call, the one step that needs no account
- 3Contract with Bridger AI Ltd (Cyprus), keeping your own gambling licenses and PSP contracts, which BridgerPay never replaces
- 4Get credentials for the password-protected developer portal and the Bridger Admin dashboard
- 5Connect your existing PSP accounts, embed Bridger Checkout, and build Router and Retry rules in the no-code editors
- 6Go live with BridgerFraud rules, the Settlement Calendar, and reconciliation, with funds continuing to flow directly between you and each PSP
Support & account management
You can't demo service before you sign, so what a vendor puts in writing is the only floor you can hold it to.
Frequently asked
The things operators actually ask before signing.
Is BridgerPay licensed or regulated?+
No, and it does not need to be. BridgerPay is a pure orchestration layer that never touches funds, so no EMI, PI, VASP, or money-transmitter license applies. The compliance surface is attestations instead: PCI DSS Level 1 with annual audits and quarterly scans, alongside Google Cloud hosting, TLS 1.3 in transit, and AES-256 at rest. The certificate PDF, the SOC 2 report, and the DORA attestation all travel on request rather than sitting on the site.
How much does Bridger Retry actually recover?+
The published figures: 8% of lost revenue recovered, a 20% increase in recovered transactions, and up to 7% revenue growth, with a regional recurring-recovery table running from 2.8% in North America to 15% in Europe and LATAM (July 2026). Session-persistent 3DS across retried PSPs is the real engineering underneath, and recovery always lands merchant-specific, so use the A/B-testable router to measure the lift on your own traffic before modeling revenue on it.
Does BridgerPay work for online casinos?+
Yes, with caveats. There is a dedicated /gaming vertical with an 80% cut in reconciliation time as its headline, the BtoBet sportsbook platform deal runs since September 2021, and Portuguese casino Bet7 was announced in June 2025. But BtoBet is the only casino-platform connector, with no SOFTSWISS or EveryMatrix integration, Soft2bet and Sidepot appear as logo references, and no gambling case study is published. You keep your own licenses and PSP contracts, since BridgerPay adds no compliance cover.
What does BridgerPay cost?+
Nobody outside a sales call knows. No pricing page exists anywhere on bridgerpay.com, no setup, monthly, or minimum figures are published, and contract-length and lock-in terms are equally undisclosed. The revenue model is a per-transaction or SaaS fee shape. The one thing you can do without talking to sales is scope coverage in the free connections directory, which requires no account.
How many PSPs does BridgerPay really connect?+
1,000+ payment providers and methods in the connections directory (July 2026). Read that count with its granularity in mind: the directory lists single methods delivered via a PSP as separate cards, so the number mixes providers with methods. The directory is free to browse with no account, which means the practical move is to look up the specific PSPs and methods your cashier needs instead of shopping on the headline figure.
